Always bring my friends who are in town for a Swiss meal there, partially because of its history. It is the oldest cafe in Lausanne and one of the ten oldest in Europe. The servers are very nice and friendly. They only serve fondue on the ground floor, so if you want a cosy fondue night in the winter, it's better make a reservation beforehand.

They were too busy to have good service. We took one hour for next dishes and we didn't finish all set before leaving.

Good atmosphere, solid old style food, and not over the top expensive for the location. Friends like to come here and I finally got to try it, and I will be back soon. If you want some light or trendy fare then head elsewhere.
