This place has built three separate replicas of the natural habitat of different animals. They don't have a very large number of animals, but the ones they have get all the space they need to be happy. I think that's much better than having a wildlife check-list on the smallest space you can imagine.

The animals seem relatively happy and children love this place. Place is safe for kids. Good food and drinks quality, available on site. You really should visit, or visit again.

I've been there plenty of times and will go any number more! Especially butterfly habitat is so fun :) I could spend hours there and taking photographs.
If you live in Switzerland go there right now! You'll thank later ;)
If you plan to visit Switzerland put this place as a must-see especially if you have kids, they'll love it!

Quite boring. Even though the butterflies are beautiful the whole setting is old fashioned. Restaurant was closed th e whole time we were there.

Great place for kids and adults alike. Walking into the area with butterflies is like entering heaven. Really. And not to forget Zoé zoo, where one can walk among animals and pet them. Fantastic!

This is a wonderful place to spend the day. Lots of activites for family and friends. The butterfly dome was my favorite, it was amazing to see so many butterflies in one place.

Interesting collection of flora and fauna divided into several "zones" such as the butterfly zone, nocturnal zone, tropical jungle zone. It's not too big, and at times the collection seems sparse in contrast to other Swiss zoos, but there are still quite a few highlights. Extra worth to visit with kids, as there's a big and well equipped playground. I wouldn't call this place a must-see, but it's still a good place to visit if you're in the area.

Interesting place to see different wild life.

Inside the domes it's really hot and humid. There are three of them and they are the main attraction.

There is plenty parking space from what I saw.

There's a place where you can eat inside but I didn't try it.

Outside you can find a sort of peting zoo with more common animals.

Personally I thought the papiliorama was the most enjoyable section.

A highlight was being able to see butterflies coming out of their cocoons and it's just nice to see so many butterflies flying around (unless you don't like them of course).

Not very big, you can get through the 3 sections in a couple of hours. But a little different from the typical zoo. A good stop if you happen to be passing.

Fantastic zoological garden of three different climate and eco systems. First the butterflies, which are nice by themselves. But even better is the night pavilion, where bats are constantly circling between their caves and the centrality located food stations. It's a great experience and you will learn that the bat's echolocating system is not perfect when they occasionally confusedly crash into you. This dark atmosphere is completed by slow moving, monkey like creatures crawling atop the central island's trees. The final pavilion with the jungle is great because of the humid climate and the high altitude bridge spanning across huge tropical plants.
