I have switched to Migros' gym at Sihlcity and went to Stockerhof again because my friend wanted to. A good reminder why I haven't been back in over a year! I'm really disappointed - most cardio machines are either old or malfunctioning (I have tried 3 now, the tv isn't working on any of them). The crowd: smelly people; apparently showering is a thing you only do after the gym, but eating onions/ not brushing your teeth is. Disgusting. Cleanliness is also lacking, hair on the floor in the changing rooms and sweat on the machines from your predecessors. Staff doesn't care.
Nice location, modern and very clean gym. But not that happy with some trainers and group courses - hard to trust a personal trainer whose body quality is worse than it should be for a personal trainer.
Terrible customer service. I was given the tour in German language regardless of not speaking it (and I clarified it to the receptionist). No information was provided in English and when asking on how to sign up I was just pointed to a form without any further explanation. Facilities look great but customer service is obviously terrible.
Good, modern machines, a few saunas and steam bath. Unusual is that they have a sizable warm, sea-salt pool
Is always a pleasure to follow courses with instructors. Well prepared, efficient and social!💪🏼

Really friendly staff. I like the new 'functional trading zone' they installed.
Wished the was a sauna like at some of their other locations though
My favourite health club in Zurich. Much better than other gyms around. Also, they have affordable yearly abos
Good gym, but gets relatively crowded during the week. A bit disappointing if you want to do free weights; main focus seems to be cardio and some machines.
