  Great place to stay, not too expensive. Great views of the lake. Nice breakfast, combination of continental and full with the addition of a soft boiled egg maker. Rooms are nice and ample, but the furniture is a bit scratched. The showers are powerful, and the water temp is hot and stable. There's a Nespresso machine on each floor, and a full variety of Nespresso at the breakfast buffet. The restaurant downstairs is full service for all three meals. There is no gym.

  We had a wonderful experience at the LeRivage Hotel near Lausanne. The location is wonderful and quiet directly across the way from Lake Geneva.
  The room was clean and modern with a balcony overlooking the lake. The bathroom was equally as clean and modern.
  We had an opportunity to dine in the restaurant and the service and food was wonderful. The area immediately around the Hotel is pedestrian only and we wee able to walk around and enjoy the area.
  Thank you so very much for making our stay in Lausanne so special.

  The hotel was fantastic, the restaurant less so. We stayed in room 302, which had beautiful views on the lake out its dormer windows. I think it was a "superior double room with lake view." The room was smallish but comfortable and laid out well. It looked exactly like the pictures on the hotel website - very pretty and modern! The hotel staff was friendly and efficient, and the location was great. We took the boat into Vevey one day, and used the train the others. It's a bit of a hike up to the station when you have luggage, but certainly do-able. Unfortunately, we ate in the restaurant one night. We had 7:30 reservations but didn't get our food until almost 9:00. The food was fine, but no worth the wait. The other nights we ate at the Italian place next door, which had much better service. We never bothered with the breakfast since there are several much cheaper options in the vicinity.
