A beautifully fitted out craft beer bar with an excellent range of local and imported brews, and at very reasonable prices for Switzerland. You're best advised to start your evening here, as the venue closes at 10pm.
Must visit for anyone interested in beer. Great people and selection of craft beer (especially from Switzerland). Their next door bar lets you choose different sizes (0.1, 0.2, 0.3 liters) so you can taste a lot of great beers!
Specialized in beer, this shop has a nice selection of local and international beers. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They recently opened a bar just next to the shop, which has a ton of good craft beer on tap! The atmosphere is really cosy, and the best thing about it is the lack of music! You can actually drink good beer and talk about it!
Very highly recommended if you like quality beer. I stopped by yesterday to have a browse and was completely impressed by the range of bieres from all over the world. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. While in the shop, I noticed a large window behind the counter which afforded a view of a cosy bar. It turned out it was a new venue affiliated with the beer shop and there were 32 beers on tap! (See photo). The selections on draft represented a very wide range of beer styles including some from local breweries. The friendly, bi-lingual (Fr/Eng) bartender had helpful suggestions. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Lausanne. Cheers!
I live in San Diego where people really appreciate good craft beer. These guys have deep reach into both the local microbrewery scene and wonderful access into great European microbrews too.
The best thing is they're building a brewpub next door to allow access to these beers as a pub. It looks like a tasting bar in a brewery minus the tanks but plus the diverse selection.
So good I can hardly wait.
Ok, i'm a bit high right now wich prompted me to write this review.
I live in lausanne and this place is truly one of the hidden jewels of this city. They have an awesome ever changing beer collection from well known to more obscure and complex. Complexity the owner will always take the time to explain if you ask. Every time i go there i will have a question and we always end up looking at the whole sellar. Just an amazing place and people doesnt matter if you like beer or not.
