A small place but you can ride pony, camel and elephant. Has a big playground and a seal show. Also you cannot pay with card.

We loved it! Although we came on a Sunday it wasn't too crowded and we were able to spot most animals right away. Nice picnic places and kiosks/ restaurants for those who didn't bring their own food. Great place for kids and toddlers, we will be back soon.

Small family friendly zoo, a really nice day out. The sea lion show is fantastic.

Great place to go with young children. Feeding or riding the animals allows them to really get close. The sea lion show setting feels very out of date though. Expensive at CHF 19.

Good for children bad for animals. Seals are still used in old fashioned shows. Many cages are small. Location is very nice.

We visited this place with our 7 month old boy. Although he is way too young for this place, I still think that it is a great place even for adults. You can learn a lot about the animals. For e.g. there is a telescope that let you see like a giraffe. But it's best suited for kids, who can already appreciate seeing exotic animals. Keep in mind, it is not the biggest zoo. If you want to see a lot of animals I would recommend you to visit Zoo Zurich. This place is dedicated entirely to kids: playgrounds, ride ponies, sea lion show and so on. I think the price is pretty reasonable (kids 4.-, adults 19.- at the time this review was written), considering what costs these animals generate.

I absolutely love this Zoo. I think is a great small zoo for smaller kids. They have pony and elephant rides for the small ones and camel rides for 6 years and up. They also have a sealion show and we could take a photo with them before the show started. There are good restaurants and playgrounds around. My daughter loved to feed the ponies :)

Amazing for kids and adults. Daughter is 15 months old and loved the animal petting. Zoo a has wide range of animals; Giraffes, Penguins, Leapords, Horses, Donekys, Elephants, etc. Great for a whole day outing.

A good, smaller and cheaper alternative to Zürich Zoo, prepare cash as credit/debit cards are not accepted at the ticket office.

The Kids for sure have a great time. However, adults concerned about animal welfare will be disappointed to see large wild animals in small enclosures. The elephants seemed very stressed.
I am all pro a zoo made for small kids, where they can feed and pet the animals. However, large animals don't belong in such Zoos. Kids are happy enough with goats, donkeys, poneys, rabbits and horses.. and These can be easily kept humanely in a zoo environment. I also found the water shows very much like sea world and that also made me uncomfortable.

I think it would be perfect if they gave up their large animals to sanctuaries and got rid of the water show.

It is suitable for smaller kids. Not very big, but it does have a lot of animals. I love the sea lion show and I would like to add this is the first show to keep my one and a half kid steady. There are several places to grab something to eat and well distributed in the area. My daughter had the 2 years birthday party in the pirate bout. The food was delivered on time, and the cake was excellent.
