Excellent experience
Staff is amazingly friendly and efficient. The pods are cosy, eco-friendly and spatious. The "social house" is very well made and one can feel that a lot attentions to details were taken. The restaurant is really good and I advise taking the electrical bike tour! Will go back in the winter to sky!
Wonderful view. Always nice and friendly staff. I love here!😊
Perfect Combination of Luxury and Outdoorsy Adventure.
Whitepod was the most amazing family trip we have ever taken. After a small enjoyable hike to the pod, we were rewarded with a warm and cozy room appointed with local artisan furnishings including several tables, plenty of chairs, a very comfortable bed, wooden floor and a very warm wood pellet stove to warm the pod. The pods was quite large and roomy and had a very nice bathroom which was extremely clean (we tend to be a little fussy in that regard). To add to the charm, every night we were given a small bag of biscotti, chocolate popcorn or candy. The entire front of the pod is clear so you can watch the stars and as you fall asleep and then wakeup to a beautiful view covered with freshly fallen snow. The pods are high up on the mountain and have stunning views of the city down below. The pods we stayed in had a TV (did not need at all), a small refrigerator (stocked with fresh juices and sodas), and surprisingly terrific Wi-Fi.
Breakfast at the Podhouse was an absolute delight – a truly charming little restaurant with a rustic feel. Every morning we were welcomed with freshly baked breads and croissants, homemade jellies, farm fresh eggs and bacon, orange juice you squeeze yourself, fresh fruit salad, gourmet coffee, teas and hot chocolate, and an assortment of delicious cheeses and meats.
Teatime, a total treat! A quaint spread of fresh baked goodies, cookies, cakes, breads, jams and the most delicious meringues. Open day and night with coffee, tea or hot chocolate anytime you want, and of course, Wi-Fi. My only regret is that we missed teatime a couple of times because we were away for the day on excursions.
While we had just missed the ski season there, it was clearly a perfect place to go skiing with the family (we went at the very end of March). There was, however, more than enough snow for the other activities and the kids couldn’t get enough of the toboggan sleds. We went on a family nature hike, which was not only educational, but lots of fun. We sampled a homemade tea and candies made from the local fauna and the kids participated in a little scavenger hunt. We also went on a dog trekking tour, which was fantastic. The dogs were friendly and it was a wonderful way to explore the forest. My oldest daughter also was brave enough to try out the parasailing. It was an exhilarating and thrilling experience for her. She was very nervous at first, but her guide made it an incredible trip to remember. She thought the scenery was spectacular and loved every minute in the sky.
We did a dog sledding tour at a ski resort nearby. Dog sledding was super fun and the dogs were super friendly. Afterwards, we skied for the rest of the afternoon. As for the more relaxing part of our trip, we also enjoyed a music-yoga session in our pod and family massages. The music session was a great family bonding experience and lots of fun. The massages were heavenly and welcome calm for such an action-packed holiday.
If you stay at the hotel, you will thoroughly enjoy dinner at Les Ceniers, a warm and cozy gourmet restaurant with excellent food and terrific service. Dinner was always delicious and a pleasurable end to the day.
What truly made this trip so wonderful was the extremely attentive Whitepod Hotel staff. Everyone is knowledgeable, kind, helpful and thoughtful. Whitepod has an excellent team to cater your trip to your personal needs.
Exceptional experience! Super nice room and view. Need to hike quite a bit to the room from the reception, but that's part of the experience.
The welcoming and extremely cosy pods were absolutely gorgeous. Drifting asleep near the warmth of our wood burner was magical to say the least. Its also an excellent romantic spot with their excellent spa’s, sauna steam and fantastic food.
