I drive from England straight to here on way to italy. It is a small well run hotel. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and clean mountain air makes for a good night's sleep. As for the views fom either your balcony or the restaurant both inside and outside. Well they are just stunning in all weather conditions. This was my fourth visit and I will come again.

We stayed one night on our way to Italy. The rooms where dated but clean. The restaurant was over priced even for Swiss prices and the portions where family sized.

The place had no air conditioning. So they had to put fans in the rooms and leave the windows open. However, the place is close to a farm so the farm smell permeated through the room. On top of that were the flies everywhere. At dinner in the hotel, there was a fly in my meal. Did they offer a free meanno.

The place itself is in the perfect setting and despite the small rooms, its cozy. However, the service is borderline non existent and some of the staff are rude and obnoxious.

Nice location with views of the lake. Lovely brunch before 2pm but only one dish available after 2pm, or coffee and cakes.

Nice and friendly service. Rooms are a bit old fashioned, but the bath room was recently refurbished. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Close proximity to main Street, so expect some noise during the night.
Close to the lake and walking distance to the beach.

I enjoyed my brief stay at the Postillon. The room was decent, the food was fine. The old-school Swiss atmosphere is ok - you can practically hear the yodeling when you wander through - but the star of the view: Swiss mountain lake, in all its glory.
Downside? A plague of tour buses, a somewhat meager breakfast (offset by excellent coffee the Italian language/culture influence?)
