  The staff are sweet. We loved the location. It's a true Swiss experience. The hotel food isn't great, but we did love the mountains we were surrounded by.

  Nice little hotel in a small town a quick train ride away from lucerne. Friendly staff and comfortable feeling. Don't worry english is well understood and it's super safe to wander around this scenic little mountain town. A great choice if the expensive hotel prices are way to much in the big city.

  Beautiful location but weird rooms with no air conditioning or screens in the windows so lots of bugs get in. Beds are nice and comfy and the overall hotel grounds are quite nice as well

  The staff were rude, the phone was broken, Wi-Fi was hopeless, food plain, the phone charger had a burning smell when turned on and a scotch and Coke with ice cost 12 Swiss francs. A rip off for a dump with staff who went out of their way to be rude.

  Situated in Giswel, old but clean hotel, however they charge for everything even ice. There is plenty to see and walking is great. The views are so amazing.

  Initial room which I was given had not been made up, but the owner quickly provided an alternative which was in good condition. Breakfast was a very limited selection and there wasn't much of what was there. Was ok, but would probably stay elsewhere if in the area again.

  Cool hotel with nice scenery from every room. There will not be wifi in the rooms thought because they are seperate from the main building. There is wifi in the reception area though

  Beautifully located in typical swiss countryside. The hotel is located at the geographical center of switzerland. Short walk to the train station - it was very convenient to make day trips to Luzern, Interlaken, Mt.Titlis, Zurich and back. I stayed in the winter - it was snow covered and perfect.

  Dieses Hotel sollte man nur in der Hauptsaison buchen, da ansonsten das gesamte Angebot nur sehr eingeschränkt zur Verfügung steht. Das Frühstück hat sich von 3x4-Wurstschnitten am ersten Tag auf 3x1 reduziert, der vorgeschnittene Hartkäse war der vom Vortag und frische Brötchen sind Mangelware. Das Personal unterhält sich gerne mit seines gleichen anstelle den (!) einzigen Gast zu fragen, ob er noch etwas möchte. DANKE. Niemals wieder!!
