Great experience for budget hotel except for a little lack of information regarding the checkin. We stayed here in august and this was the cheapest hotel we could find on any booking site. We did not expect much from this hotel but surprisingly was good. The rooms looked to be refurbished. We stayed in small double room which was surprisingly quite big and for 140 chf this was well worth the money.
Note that the chekin is in a nearby hotel so call and get all the info especially if u are arriving beyond 7. We arrived at 11.30 pm and the keys were arranged by the hotel guys. You can get Staubach falls view on some rooms. The hotel itself is at a stone trow away distance from Staubach falls. Spectacular views!! This hotel has No restaurant and breakfast is in nearby hotel. Parking is available next to the hotel. Overall a good place who are in tight budget and dont want to stay in hostel.response / report this review -

Terrible experience. When we arrived the reception was closed and there was a sign on the door that informed us that check in was up the road at another hotel. Breakfast was also at the other hotel. It seems as if Hotel Jungfrau has been abandoned but someone is still renting out rooms. The wifi did not work. There was no parking available. The pool was empty. The restaurant was closed. The only positive was that we were released from our reservation after the first night. I would not recommend this hotel.

My first reaction upon walking into the Hotel Jungrfau was to walk back out. I thought there could be no way this was the "3 star hotel" that we had payed over $170 a night for. It looked abandoned. I will list the few good things about the hotel first, and then give the excessive list of cons. Pros: Beautiful View Friendly Staff Sufficient free parking Pretty clean bathrooms Good included breakfast (even though it was in another hotel) Cons: It was very ragged The hallways had a funky, overdamp smell Advertised pool, sundeck, and restaurant were closed and non-functional Advertised coffee machine in the common room was not working. The WiFi was horrendous to the point it was unusable The television didn't receive a single channel You had to go to a different hotel down the street for breakfast and check-in (there was no on-site staff) The furniture looked for be from the 70's and was very well worn There was a bee's nest outside our window, so we couldn't open the windows The front door was always open The lights in the hallways and throughout the building always seemed to be turned off The quality of room itself was better than the building, but still had several little annoying things wrong with it.

Great hotel, kind of out dated and small. Has the most amazing view you can imagine. In one of the best locations you can get. Breakfast is complimentary and served right down the road at Hotel Schuzen. Wonderful place if you're coming out with the boys

Total dump, old and outdated, half the rooms are abandoned, pool wasn't working and rooms were WAY overpriced (over $200/night). This town in general is overrated, the people are rude and super expensive.

겨울에 오면 거의 개점휴업 상태입니다 실내수영장 같지만 하지않고 아침도 리셉션도 인근 다른호텔 가야됩니다
가격에 비해 진짜 비추합니다

역에서 7분가량 걸어가야 나오는 호텔.
룸 컨디션은 좋은 편이나, 레스토랑 직원인지 호텔 직원인지 경계가 없는 시스템.(서빙2,주방장1 밖에 없는 듯)
체크인 하면서 물어볼 직원이라곤 서빙 하는 사람뿐 리셉션에 아무도 없음. 체크인 하려 가면 덩그러니 키밖에 없음.
