It's okay. A hotel, good location, but a bit noisy because of the repairs that took place at the railway line. The trains themselves are surprisingly silent, you can almost not hear them, even when you stand just 20 meters away. The breakfast was extremely old fashioned. One half of the breads were dry and had no taste at all, the other, Italian style ones, were nice. The breakfast room must have been styled in the nineties and did not get any upgrade since then. The room itself was fine and had a good flat screen HD TV and a balcony. What upset me a little bit was the pricey parking situation. 18 CHF for one day in a hotel garage is too much.

Very nice hotel, excellent pool and location. The buses are very easy to figure out and the front desk staff are super helpful. We found the room just perfect.

My wife and I truly enjoyed the hospitality of Delfino. Great food and great service. A very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a familiar hotel with a great ambiance.
The room service is great, the rooms are clean. The meals in the restaurant are delicious.

We enjoyed our stay at the Defino despite the rainy weather. The Ciao Lugano package was a nice bonus as we enjoyed Mont San Salvadore, the Swiss Miniatur and the water taxi ride on the lake. The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable and the breakfast a very nice cold buffet with lots of choice.
The next time we hope there will be better weather and we will come earlier in the season to enjoy the pool after a day of exploring.response / report this review -

The hotel is very nice, clean rooms with a view and good parkinggarage.
The breakfast is simple but good and the terrace and swimmingpool are beautiful.

We got a great Migros cumulus deal, for a weekend including breakfast and a dinner. The do net was super super nice and the breakfast also had a very wide variety. I was just missing the scrampled eggs (there were just some 5min boiled eggs), other kinds of eggs we personally found a bit overprised. But all in all it was a very nice stay. Our room had lake view and it was nice and calm. The service was also great. I can recommend this hotel.

Excellent cuisine. Excellent staff, helpful, humorous and precise. Nothing was a problem. Nice clean rooms with a terrace, air conditioning and mostly calm, although a bit above the hotel leads railway line - to all the hotel is well soundproofed. Very good locations, short walk from the lakeside promenade. Parking is situated in the underground garage. There is swimming pool with sun loungers, which are regularly used. Towels for the pool are included amenities. From the hotel we have a very nice experience and recommend.
