Hotel stank a little but the room was terrible, it smelt of sweat and old wood even though it wasn't too old. The beds were uncomfortable, one flaky small pillow each. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, no hair dryer. The side table light was blown. There was dust on most surfaces. The internet was slow and only worked in the reception area. When I asked to be moved to a different room since were staying for 3 nights I was told the hotel was booked out (total lie) - we were the only two people staying at the hotel as it was off season and the whole town was dead. The receptionist, cook, bar tender etc etc was the same person who was rude and only spoke Italian and we spoke English and German so the conversation was very limited. The parking was empty and we were told it would be free to park since it was off season (over the phone) and also at Check-in by this woman but at check-out she charged us CHF30. The food was awful and included breakfast was very basic and got worse each day. Any sensible half decent person running this place would have upgraded us or given us a room with balcony but she put us on the 3rd floor at the back with a window opening to the side of the hotel. It was by far the worst experience and would never go back to this place again.
