The Hospiz is about the only decent reataurant at the Grimsel, but the problem is that it is just that, decent. A nice setting, stone walls and 4*-ish interior decora sets expectations for food that, visit after visit, leave me disappointed. Flammkuchen (or whatever they translate it in dialekt) are a good fallback choice. Kinda flatbread thin crust pizza.

Fall in love with this Hotel - a location most suited for couples with its iconic view of moutains , lake and valley. The hotel rooms are cozy and have all amenities provided. Love the dinning area.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Grimsel Hospiz. The hotel was beautiful and the views breathtaking. We never wanted to leave once we settled in!

We left Lucerne as a group of 7 and headed to Grimsewelt. We had no great expectations and were not expecting much. What a surprise! the Staff was particularly helpful, the accommodations far exceeded what we could have hoped for, and the surroundings breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is one of the best place that we have visited. Even though we reached late at night but they have arranged nice dinner for us. Everybody was so nice and friendly. Just you feel that you are at home. Location of the hotel is wonderful. Feel relaxed by looking out of your room window at surrounding beautiful mountains. Worth to visit again.

Did not stay in the hotel but it was a really nice restaurant with a very reasonable price. The view is breathtaking and also you might also be interested in visiting the grimsel test site nearby (a tunnel which goes through the mountain and went through a quartz vein)
