Good place to enjoy Swiss authentic cuisine especially the fondue. The atmosphere are really great and let us feels like eating in hundred years ago. Price is competitive and reasonable. Don’t forget to take photos of its outlook.
Cosy place with traditional food. Tried the daily menu, but was not very satisfied: the plate arrived cold and the meat was low quality.
Amazing attentive service. Had the cheese and chocolate fondue. Plus a delicious sausage dish. They even made a gluten free and dairy free dish for our Celiac Disease Family member with no problem whatsoever. Lots of friendly wait staff. Able to alter dishes for allergies. We're super kind and thoughtful to my daughter. Kid friendly. Great food big portions.
Food was OK but they told every foreigner that the Tip was not included in the bill, which it always is in Switzerland. They cheat all the people that visit the place, that is so wrong!
Wouldn't go there ever again. And I'm a Swiss so I'll tell everybody what a fake place it is.
Terrible experience!
We had cheated by the waiter, and he added the tips by himself without asking us.
We just went to try the traditional dishes, and he did say we can just order two main course and a salad to share, but when the dishes came, it's different from what we did order.
I went to tell them, and the waiter had three thousands of excuses to refuse us to cancel the dishes.
I don't remember how was the dishes, I just remembered how racist were they.
Nice ambience. Restaurant was a little busy but staff was still good to give apologies while we waited.
Food was good and well priced. About chf22 for cheese fondue for 2 or rosti which was pretty nice.
Didn't quite liked the wine in cheese.
Overall would recommend this location for its well priced item and food quality
Cheese fondue was average, nothing special. Chocolate fondue was nice, which earned one star. The other two stars are purely for the excellent service from Miguel. He made us feel extremely welcome with his warm service . The other waiter though, Jose, was extremely rude . It's amazing how contrasting the service at a restaurant can be. I won't be returning.
I have been in this restaurant during a business travel.
This restaurant is very nice, inside an historical building in Luzern.
Of course, we have tried a very tipical Wurstel with roesti and onion soup.
It was very good, with a cold weiss beer.
The food and choice on the menu is very good. Decent pricing and good ambience/decor. However, our waiter on the day seemed overly direct and on the limit, stern and at times plain strict?
This restaurant is amazing!!!! We were only in Lucerne two nights and really wanted fondue. The fondue was delicious, the service was great, the waiter was super friendly and accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a bit pricey, about 66 francs for shares three course fondue, but not really pricey by Swiss standards. I highly recommend it but I would make reservations, especially on the weekend. They fill up fast!
