Location is good. When you get off the train it’s right there a bit expensive though but has a good variety.

Come late you get discounts on fresh same day expiry items

Right across street from the train station, tucked in a mall, this is a good place to buy your food, liked their sushi offering and their viennoiseries.

Produce is a bit expensive, but you can really find anything you need here. Well supplied, we always stop in at some point during our trips for necessities or snacks . A more diverse selection of beer is available now as well (which is great after a long hike or day of riding).

Big coop in the middle of Zermatt. All what you need except a good wine other than Swiss. I had a difficulty to find a good French, Italian, or Spanish wine.

Go here to buy drinks: 0.5 liters in a restaurant will cost $5, while 1.5 liters is only $1 in the grocery store. It's also nice to buy snacks for your skiing or biking trips.

The Supermarket of the town, connected to the railway station. Recommended for buying your drinks and snacks before hitting the slopes or hiking. Also before the long train ride back to the bigger cities. Being the only reasonably sized and located supermarket, usually very crowded and chaotic.
