Quiet and relaxing, perfect infrastructure

This was a completely unexpected delight.

In three weeks touring Europe by convertible we found a place with the best bathrooms (including all the hotels we had stayed in) and the best food. And it is stuck down the end of a track barely signed around the gliding club airfield.

Staff were fantastic, place was quiet and out of the way, bar the very occasional light aircraft. They even had lodges of you didn't want to camp. Pitches were in the trees and large and very well spaced.

Without doubt the best camp site I have ever been too. Endless streams, lakes, woods and trails. Fabulous.
