Absolutely fantastic campsite at the foot of the Eiger with magnificent views up and down the valley. Can't praise it enough!
The staff were all friendly, relaxed and willing to help out with all enquiries, and spoke excellent English. The shop was well stocked and there was the option to buy bread for a reasonable price (although we didn't take advantage of this, maybe next time!)
The campsite is roughly segregated into tents, fixed motor homes and campervans which meant for us (as we were camping) we weren't hemmed in by large campervans and had plenty of space (and a wonderful view of the Eiger!) It was very quiet and peaceful and we slept very well!
The facilities were clean and plentiful for all, and very easily accessible for the whole campsite. There was even wifi!
Another highlight was the card you receive on arrival, which allowed us to catch the bus into Grindelwald for free from near the train station, saving us a significant amount in ticket costs! It is a ten minute walk to the train station but through very lovely scenery, and you would have this walk regardless of whether you were catching the train or not! We were also given a discount card for going to Grindelwald First which I would also highly recommend as there are lots of great walks from there, and some fantastic views!
    We'll be back!

Beautiful views, friendly owners, didn't use the facilities and quite expensive but great location.

Drove all day from Calais and after reading other reviews decided this would be the best campsite.
However having arrived at 2330 on Friday night, was greeted but one of the rudest people I have ever met! Was promptly reminded of the time, asked to drive out turn left and leave immedialty without a sorry or please or any help in finding another campsite. He seemed to be angry that we had thought it would be possible to stay there for a night.

After a long day this is not what you expect, I will never use this campsite, the one further up the hill was happy to let us stay and a much better location!

Not the cheapest place, but the view was amazing. Need a three prong German plug, but the host had plenty of converters. For sure worth the stay.

Fraaie en schone camping die prachtig is gelegen onder aan de voet van het Jungfrau gebergte. Zeer aan te bevelen voor wandelaars, tracking en mountainbikers.

Good camping with an amazing view. Quiet spot down the hill from Grindelwald. Facilities were older but clean and had plenty of hot water. Not great for wifi.

Nice, clean, friendly campsite with a stunning view of the Eiger north face. Reception sells beer and you can order bread for the morning. It's on a bit of a slope, but not too bad (and no doubt considerably more comfortable than Death Bivouac!).
