Great views, clean facilities. Owners were warm and friendly, totally opposite to the negative reviews.

Location in village: nice
Internal things: not enough shadow inside (a few trees only), only small places with grass, toilets and showers are not clean
Owners: rudeness and boorishness. Showing inadequate behavior, unpredictable aggressive reactions. Not recommended to visit here.response / report this review -

A small camping, 15min walking distance to the village's centre. However, its good location is totally outweighed by several negative sides: too small and overcrowded place for tents, just two pairs of showers for all the visitors, and above all, rude and unwelcoming owners. They are very quick to channel their bad mood on guests, shouting, cursing, and making all kind of threats. Summary: an overpriced and vacation mood-spoiling place.

Unbelievably rude and even dangerous personal. It was said to us outloud, that not every nationalities are welcome here! DON'T go if you are speaking any slavic language (or any other languages, I see in reviews, that they are insulting not only our company). Spoiled vacation in such a beautiful place. Only view is nice, but facilities are basic, not too neat either.

The facilities were ok, but lacking. For example - kitchen was completley empty, to get a hot glass of water you had to pay 0.5 chf. No place to charge phone in kitchen.
The reason i give this place low rating is mostly because of the attitude of the owner. During the 2 nights i was there i had the feeling of an unwanted guest, and every question i asked was met with a sour face. As if i was out of place.
Also, compared to other campsite we've been to, this one was overpriced in relation to offered services.response / report this review -

Wifi only near admin building. Switched off at nighttime. The view is probably the best ever you can get

Fabulous campsite with a view of the Eiger. The campsite and Grindelwald are both now extremely busy and fully on the tourist map but still worth a visit
