Really unfriendly, really agressive employees and they do not except young people even with an autorisation(if ur under 21). Do not come here! Sleep at the lake.

Terrible camping in high season. You're cramped like ants, hardly able to pass your car to your spot due to the narrow streets and all tents.

At the start of second wave of Corona, there were hardly any measures available at the camping. No hand sanitizer anywhere. Nobody wearing mouth mask. The thought of reducing the capacity of the camping due to Covid-19 is probably blasphemy in the eyes of the owners.

The price is also extraordinary high. Never seen before. You can book a 4star hotel for the same price as this glorified parking space for the lake.

Electricity, you need a socket without grounding, also never mentioned so basically paid for nothing.

The only good things are the view of the lake in the evening and the showers. In the afternoon the private beach is packed and not fun at all.

TLDR: Don't go here in high season. Avoid this area like the plague (litteraly!). Even with kids, you can find better campings for less money, more space and more utilities.

Clean site, sand part of the beach is pretty small majority is lawn.
The site was overpacked with campers and all did not fit in to their lots and that made moving around with RV impossible without asking one by one people to move their cars.
Claiming to staff did not change the situation, they came to see the surroundings, but did not solve the issue. The waterdeont site in here is a joke.

Will not visit this site in future, we changed to another site aprx. 6 km to north and here the water front sites are true water front sites.

Nice people, nice sanitary facilities, nice pitches (especially the lake- and riverside ones). Beautiful and pretty convenient location. Somewhat expensive though.

Oh and my favourite part: There are drinking water taps all over the site.

The lady at reception was lovely and very helpful, the restaurant was very good, my fiancee said it was the best lasagne he'd ever eaten. Also the staff serving us were very helpful and friendly. There's a mini golf and pool just down the road, and free wifi. however I can't really say much for locarno itself, there's not much there. We only stayed one night

Good campsite but expensive. Non standard electric hook up. Adapters are available for 20CF deposit.

I ate spaghetti allo scoglio, and it was good, but unfortunately many shells were broken and I had some difficulty eating it because of that.

Clean and quiet. Amazing that there are much more showers for man than for women. Pizza good. To many rules about silence and noise -that is a good idea- but at least not respected enterely. Too much burocracy for reservations by mail.

Spectacular location at the almost untouched nature of the Maggia delta. But the spaces are often too densely allocated and the price is among the highest I ever experienced.

Very nice camping at the Lago Maggiore lake. I visited this camping with my parents when I was young and it is still great after 15 years. Might be a bit expensive, but the facilities are very good and clean!
