An easy hike from those with the right physical health. The views are good on both sides of the mountain. The view down to Wenger is nice.

I have not dined nor lived in this place but I have to express my great thanks to a very kind lady whose name I unfortunately don't know. Today I was too stupid to check the time of the last departure of the cable car downward and I came to this place, asking if anyone knew any alternative option. Then a lady (perhaps a manager?) came to me, asked someone about the snow condition on the roads, called a taxi driver for me and suggested me a path to meet the cab easily. She even gave bottle water before I left. I can never forget such warmth in a snowy day ever in my life.

Great place to have a drink. We ordered a brat and fries. It's was alright. The views are incredible and it was a nice pit stop before walking the trail to Kleine Scheidegg.

Nice view on the Eiger in a rather large hall with enough space for many hungry skiers. There's food and drink for any taste. Grilled meat with French fries, vegetables, bread, sandwiches, cakes and sweets. You can tap yourself soft drinks or buy bottles to drink while skiing. There's also beer cans and wine. But of course at this altitude, the prices are roughly twice as high as on a normal Swiss restaurant in the flatlands.

Good Swiss food at a reasonable price (for Switzerland). The self service is very efficient for a quick meal. Try one of the "Chässchnitte". Bread soaked with wine and covered with melted cheese. Just delicious.
