Großartiges kleines Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt. Schönes großes Zimmer, tolles Bad und sehr gutes Frühstück!

Sehr charmant
Sowohl das Personal als auch das Haus.
Unbedingt empfehlenswert, wenn man gerne Altstadt-Feeling hat.
Das Biofrühstück ist liebevoll zubereitet und passend zur Ambiente.

Beware!.. many reviews are based on previous owners who were lovely and who took pride in a great place to stay. Now, it's dingy, depressing and for want of a better word, weird.

New owners have taken over.. after 3 mysterious room swaps, a weird instruction not to have any luggage in the room by a distinctly unpleasant, aggressive and rude host, and a room for 4 which just fitted a double bed, me and my family (daughters of 5 and 3) opted to relocate to the very pleasant and similarly priced Munchwilen hotel down the road. The property owner was quite ok for me to post an unfavourable review as apparently this sort of thing makes no difference to her business as she was at pains to make clear.

It's hard to write objectively but.three important things to call out. 1. This sort of experience belongs in the past, most usually with an ex Python writing the script. 2. Wil is a very pleasant town, and as such deserves better 3. The Munchwilen hotel apparently had guests last night who relocated themselves from Bett Am Weiher after a similar experience..

Sehr schönes Haus, super Ambiente, 1a Lage! Obwohl es sehr hellhörig ist (woran ich mich erstmal gewöhnen musste) finde ich es wirklich super. Ich freue mich darauf wenn ich wieder in die Schweiz komme und in dieser Unterkunft übernachten kann.
