I recently bought a new Audi A4 and the experience was quite smooth. I booked the car on a Monday and the car was delivered to me on Friday the same week (Note: I did not lease or loan, so timings might differ for you if you opt in for that). I opted for a warranty and service extension pack and I am hoping these contracts hold as described (especially the one for the National Audi Service). Also, since the car is imported I was told the manual of the car (in German) will be sent via post to me. I did receive a manual in Danish though.
Mr.Halili was professional, courteous and approachable and ensured proper communication throughout the process and made me aware of the different service contracts available.
I must admit, I was slightly rattled by some other reviews in the beginning but my personal experience has been quite positive until now. Hoping it stays the same!
Completely unprofessional and untrustworthy.Do NOT buy anything from them. They import cheap cars from NON EU countries, then they try to sell you 4500 CHF extra maintenance/garantee to make up the costs.
In the end you spend as much as when you buy cars by ANY other Garage in CH.Without their EXTRA cover, the car has NO garantiert service in the EU! Unprofessional, shameful, disonest, and they operate in Switzerland! They should have to shut down immediately. They instill in you any possible fear of sudden car failure, for minutes and minutes.Good tactic.Bad location, bad offices, overfed employees with NO interest in customers.I am extremely disappointed.
The stars are for the prices and the wide range of cars and brands available onsite no waiting. The last star is for the service after u pay :)
I bought a GOLF 1.6 TDI SportPlus from 2015 with km 17000 . Drove 300 km all the way to sign the contract to purchase the car. The sale service was ok except that one of the balcanic guys next to me started to swear like a crazy in swiss German because of my questions on the Diesel CO2 standards. Being there under pressure with 2 children I did pretend I did not hear anything and moved forward.
What struck me back then is that a buyer turned down the vehicle I bought allegedly because he did not have sufficient funds. After driving for about 3 months putting up 15000 km between Geneva and Zurich one day in the middle of the highway the gears were not working anymore . I tried my best to get close home untill I had to call a service to pull away the car . The car was still under factory warranty on top of the 5 year Plan offered to me by Autoschiess through an Insurance group. No worry then but the clutch was totally gone and the fault supposedly was either mine or that of the former driver , a Porsche garage located in Croatia. Autoschiess declined any responsibility after hearing that the factory warranty was not valid putting the blame solely on my driving style. Immagine me driving in a rally between Geneva and Zurich in a highly trafficked highway full of radars, the first time ever in 27 years where I burn a clutch?
So I had to pay out of my pocket the new clutch, chf 2500, ie 15% of the original selling price. Autoschiess declined any Kulanz in German or commercial gesture. However the problems were not terminated here . Before this accident I discovered that the emergency tyre was totally broken and recently I had to change completely the oil , a bit early for a car with only km 15000.
All of this shows how Autoshciess service is inadequate and a vicitm of its own success and probably of lax rules in Switzerland providing as usual no customer protection. If you want to buy a car in a large car importer like this I would recommend to always do a general check up for probably chf 300 by a car specialist . If any problems are detected you should be able in 2 days to return the car. This is probably what happend with my Golf that was turned down by the first client. As soon as I have time I will enquire on this detail also from a legal point of view, ie all other things being equal if the car dealer in Switzerland is allowed to hide a flaw to the new customer when the car was returned precisely for this reason. If necessary I will consult a lawyer to keep all the options open and request a police investigation. It would be interesting in fact to get in touch with that person and confirm the reasons for returning the car . Was it just a problem of cash? I doubt it. It would be great if autoschiess could be quite transparent by reassuring me that they were not aware of anything. Rest assured that from my side I will consult all the Car drivers association to inform them about what happened and make sure to improve the general selling framework according to the motto who fails pays.
I also call anybody with a similar experience to join forces by sharing together more information to adress this deceitful service of selling imported and well priced cars in such a rich and civilised country like Switzerland without the necessary customer protection
I'm convinced there is something fishy going on.
I suggest you to be really careful before you sign anything.
The content on the website simply doesn't much with the fact in the contract.
They say: Garantie & Service - inkl. Hersteller-Garantie.
In my case the manufacturer provides 3 years or 100000km warranty for the entire car but the Auto Schiess provide 2 years warranty which valid only in their service and ONLY 3 parts of the car (engine, turbo, and transmission) but the fact the warranty NOT valid in any other services, so that's simply not the manufacturer warranty as they said. That was the explanation when I asked the seller about this this: "we didn't found better words to explain our warranty plan"
I don't complain the personal they are sellers they try to do the best sell as much as possible. Ofc.
Luckily I didn't bought the car, but it seems I'm not the only one who experienced some problems with this company.
Just read the other reviews.
I think better to consider to take a look on other places as well where they provide what they are promise.
Yes, in the first time everything sounds good, but make a calculation, read the contract carefully, count with the warranty condition etc before you sing anything
The experience was great, Mario Gomes was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
Greation selection and good prices
Before the sale, we were promised our car would ready in few days - usual promise before signing the contract. We did not hear from them in about 2 week, although we did receive the invoice to pay the full amount I called them several times to arrange the insurance for me, they are not responsive and it is difficult to get them on the phone.
We received a call ONE day before the pick-up day offered. No flexibility at all. We had to take half a day off because the last appointment was at 4pm (approximately). The worst thing was the actual car delivery: we arrived on time (10 minutes earlier) and our car wasn't ready - we had to wait 2 hours there until it was cleaned and prepared. Real waste of my time. It also makes me wonder why we had to pay anything to get the car "ready" (Lieferungpauschal, around 400 CHF) if the car wasn't ready at all.
Price of the car was good (i.30), although they had a summer price a couple of days after we paid the 300CHF deposit - as I had no news from them, I asked if the reservation could be cancelled and was treated quite rudely on the phone.
Prices for any extra are very unreasonable (rip-off I would call them). Asked for winter-tyres, offered 700CHF (while the price online is around 250CHF). The service check for 4 more year was around 2000CHF, they were not able to tell me how much one service check would cost.and the funniest of all, the floor mats were offered for the generous price of around 150 CHF Price in Migros or Coop is around 30 CHF and you would normally expect to have them in your brand new car.
The only good thing was the seller: young guy called Kleeb, very friendly and willing to helphe was the one who had to apologize a million times and helped to prepare the car last minute. It was not his job, but he noticed the impression we had was not great.
I would probably not buy another car here.
