I bought 2 micro drones at Franz Karl Weber. Especially, because I know that most of the Chinese Tech Toys break down or are delivered "dead on arrival". So I wanted the Guarantee and somewhere to goOne drone had problems with the rotors and they were replaced right on spot, the guy was very knowledgeable and even gave me some spare parts for free. Think about support when you buy these kind of toys.

Nothing close to the mythological Bahnhofstrasse/Renweg location. Turned to nothing more than a neglected Toys R Us. Better off totally closed, kept as a memory only.

Nicely arranged shop. I went there with a two year old who was very excited to be there! Can be a bit crowded though

More than just a toy shop, a piece of history and up to certain extent almost a tourist destination. Definitely not cheap, has one of the broadest selections of Steiff plush available in Zurich, collectors won't be disappointed

Good selection of toys, something for everyone. Always fun to wander around to find something special to buy. Great for birthday presents. Staff helpful in locating something in particular and they are always happy to order in items if they don't have them.

Very very bad experience. I passed by specially to get a new year gift for my nephew in Vienna. I travelled from China and will take the train to Munich and I went specially to this shop because it is somehow "recommended". But when I asked if I could leave my luggage somewhere at the first floor since I had this suitcase for travel which is not a cabine luggage because the stairs are very high and ridiculous to climb with, It was coldly and rudely refused because "they don't have place for it". And when I asked if I should go upstairs with it the lady replied without look at me: Yes. I left without buying anything of course because in China, France Germany or Austria I never had this kind of shopping experience before. I will never go back again.

Cool toy shop. Has lost its charm though over the years. Very pricey.

This is a pretty neat toy store. It is several stories tall and has different themes on each floor. There is also a dragon slide to the bottom floor, I think it's only for children though. The prices are a bit high, but it's still a nice experience.
