Location a 7 min walk from the Zurich Central train station but may be tricky to find. The climb up to the hotel is steep and there is a shortcut that uses stairs. Quiet part of town but close to the university. Hotel is so so

First time in Zurich. Location close to 4 tram lines, one from airport and 3 to main train station (Hbf), so quite convenient. Walk down to Hbf in 10 min, but not up! Price OK for Zurich. No real facilities. English good. Our room was spacious and light, not all all are as big.

Dont stay here if it is the slightest bit warm because there is no AC system. The front rooms are noisey and the sun heats them up more. When I asked for a quieter cooler room they were very defensive and fussed at us for not asking right away so they did not have to re-clean the room. They told us an extra $30 to move to the back, then another woman came up and said she had one for the same price so we took that. When we checked out they charged us the extra $30 anyway, complaining again they had to redo the room.
It was convenient to tram 15 to get around and tram 10 to the airport but there are other hotels in the same area. Comfort Inn Royal looked nice.
