The room was really nice but the bed was a little bit too hot. I enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast a lot. The SPA was the best part of the weekend because it was really relaxing after the hiking.

We made reservations for 2 nights to enjoy Zermatt and see the Matterhorn. After a few hours to / from Gornegrat, my husband and I were surprised to see our room open , with 2 men in the room , explaining that they were there to fix the cable. We were surprised because we did not report the problem , though we noticed the night before that the pictures were "shaky". Someone must have known about this problem and still sold the room to us? Why couldn't they have given us another room and closed the room for service, instead of invading our privacy? We were tired after several hours at the Gornegrat but we had to be in the room being repaired and could not have time to rest. My greatest concern is invasion of privacy and the threat of security if case these people were not legitimate. When I addressed this concern to the female front desk clerk , she was quite defensive and stated that they can do anything and that we are "safe in Switzerland ". I would have appreciated some concern from the hotel staff And that we should have been advised of the cable problem when we checked in or given us the time of repair so we could have locked our luggages???

Brilliant place to stay. Had a south facing room with great views of the Matterhorn. Food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly.

Here is so good! They upgraded our room. The room is spacious and clean. It takes only 7mins from the station. Also the breakfirst was really nice.

Very nice stay with a very nice room and view of the Matterhorn. There is a city tax (6 fr each night). Room was cleaned very well while out during the day too. Short walk to train as well as any trains up the mountain

Service quite poor. Our room has not been made even after two requests at the reception. Doesn't meet the standards of Zermatt. I would rather recommand the Best Western Butterfly with a better situation (close to train station and main street) and with higher level of service and customer orientation.

Nice place. Good thin crust pizza. Pepperoni here is multi color bell peppers Breakfast is good. You can ask for special eggs:. Omlette, fried etchotel has a shuttle that can pick you up at the train station.

Wonderful hotel with spa facilities including salt hot tub, steam and sauna rooms and free breakfast with lots of choice. The room was great with balcony views of the Matterhorn.

awesome hotel we had booked a budget room but were surprisingly given a free upgrade to a suite. it was huge with a separate kitchen where we made coffee and later sat in the balcony drinking it while enjoying the views of the Matterhorn.
