  I waited far too long to leave this review. Don came and helped me out on a Sunday even though every single other place I called wasn't open. He showed up within a few hours and helped us get our door working again. Super friendly and great pricing too.

  I would give Don 10 stars if I could! He accommodated my schedule and went over and above what I thought I needed. I would definitely recommend him and when my very old door opener finally gives up the ghost, it will be Don I will call!

  Highly Recommended. When my elderly parent’s garage door opener stopped working after 26 years, we needed a reliable quality replacement at a reasonable cost by a solid local company / installer. We shopped the local Calgary market in June of 2017. And of the 11 garage door installation companies we shortlisted, we found Ziegler Garage Doors to in the very top tier of installers based on a number of factors that we carefully considered. Ziegler Garage Doors was recommended to us by another mainstream garage door installation company that was swamped. After communicating with Don at Ziegler Garage Doors, we were quite favourably impressed with our communications with him, his sincerity, straightforward insights and a very reasonable quote. He addressed our concerns given the tight constraints in our parent’s tiny older style garage, winning us over with his knowledge and assurances. We learned from the other company that Don has construction woodworking skills which would likely prove quite helpful. He was also able to schedule an install within just a few days. Although we did not ultimately select Ziegler Garage Doors, we feel that we would have been quite satisfied with the end result if we did. Our final decision was a tight and very close one.

  Cable snapped this morning and Don was here within 90 minutes even though he had 6 other jobs to go to. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Knew exactly what to do and fixed what needed to be done. No more, no less. He even did a few tweaks with his trade secrets and now the door is operating even more quietly than before. Highly recommended. Price is very reasonable. I'd call him from now on for all our garage door needs.

  Don came out to fix our garage door on a Sunday when it wouldn't close. Very prompt and amazing service at a very good price. We will be calling Don with all of our future needs!

  We hired Don to fix our garage door and he did a fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable and was done in now time. Very nice guy and a pleasure to work with.

  One of my garage springs broke last night and called Don. He came out the next day and had the springs and cables replaced within 45 minutes. He installed better springs and a stronger gauge cable all at a reasonable price.

  Of the three calls I made for quotes, everyone seemed to give the same service call rate so I hired Don because he was closest to my house. On my call to Don, it didn't occur to me to give any details. I just told him my garage door was broken. Don showed me that my 15ish year old garage door had a broken spring (obvious, busted in half), and I couldn't remember where I put the cables that pull the door up. Don went back to his truck and brought in these items. This fact and watching him work with his tools showed it was obvious he knew what he was doing. Finally, the bill was very fair. I am confident my door will not break down anywhere in the near future although Don impresses me as the type that would come and fix the door free again if anything were to happen. This is exactly the kind of service I want. Too many times I have called the big fancy company that sends out some rookie (obvious) but yet still charges the big fancy price. A week ago, I had to tell a locksmith to leave because it was obvious he didn't know what he was doing. I didn't pay him anything. My strategy from now on is to call the little guy that charges the reasonable price, watch him work, and let him stay if he knows what he is doing. If not, after 5 minutes, he's out and I won't pay any money including base fees. Don does an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Thank you to Don.
