Come join us!!
WE so agree with Kristina Kuzmic on this! Let's all ditch the word Balance!
We actually prefer the word rhythm, as it feels so much more natural and easier to fall into, instead of work hard to achieve it. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
PS: You can still vote (everyday until May 13th) for us at the FedEx Small Business Grant Contest: http://bit.ly/FedExContest2018WE Thank you so much!

The sharing economy is reaching a lot of industries, and WE love it!!
And you, what do you think? Would you open your own home to get flexible childcare and a community of like-minded parent entrepreneurs to work along side you, plus get revenue from it?
If yes, let us know as Working Ensemble is expanding and looking for hosts!
Exciting, isn't it?
"Sham Dhanji, 35, an ECE with the YMCA for 14 years, says she is pleased child care is becoming an election issue. “When politicians talk about child care, it opens the eyes of the community that child care is important,” she said in an interview." <-- WE so agree!!!
What do you think of the solutions the different parties are announcing? Do you think Working Ensemble can help solve that issue too? We think so.
Contact us at welcome@workingensemble.ca to see how you can help us help you, and in a flexible way!
Childcare issues exist across the globe and across industries. We are so glad to see this is changing, as, yes, we confirm, solving those are definitely needed to resolve equality issues.
Then, we can only support what Charlotte Riley is working on! Go Charlotte, Go!!
“I personally think you can’t talk about equality on screen unless you address this idea of childcare. () I’m creating an initiative to provide childcare on film and TV sets."
What a great initiative from University of Toronto, and Ryerson University!
WE definitely love seeing more inclusion of our kids to our work areas. It especially means more inclusion for parents to allow them the same access as without kids.
Do you want to see Working Ensemble partner with Universities to give you, parent students, more access to focused time and space? Let us know!
If you can relate, even just a little, to this article, come try our concept of coworking with childcare to benefit from our community of like minded parent entrepreneurs.
More and more groups of parents, like Mamas & Minis, Mamas & Co., MumNet, (so many others), and ours, aim, each in our own way, to dismantle the loneliness epidemic. We think it is an incredible movement to be a part of.
What other groups do you know share this goal? We’d love to get to know them!
100 votes!!! Thank you so much!!! 2 more days to add more votes to get in first place now!!!
Thank you so much for your support again!!

Great tips not just for surviving, but thriving in the gig economy. And PS: WE can help you hit all these bases. 😉
WE can help you with these challenges! At Working Ensemble, parents get focused work time, kids get to play with our certified caregivers, and everyone goes home happy.
Guys, we made it. Spring is officially here! Here are a few activities you can do with your kiddo to celebrate the season.
I had a workshop and group working session at Working Ensemble and loved it! It was so productive, and in part was due to the cozy and friendly environment. Diane, the owner, made us feel very comfortable, she even offered us delicious snacks, coffee and tea. I definitely recommend it, specially for who has children, since there’s a space dedicated for kids with activities to entertain them while parents are focused in getting their work done. Thank you Diane, it was a great experience!
I had a workshop at Working Ensemble today andWow! I walked in to lively music as the little ones were just finishing snack and dancing about. Their space was clean and organized and just looked like a lot of fun. The mom/working space upstairs is phenomenal! Cozy yet big enough to sit a group of 10 comfortably around the long rectangular table. There was coffee and a beautiful assortment of teas to be had; water, cups, etc. Diane has thought of everything! I had a fantastic experience here today and will definitely be coming back!
I get SOOOO much work done here when I go, and my son LOVES playing with the caregiver who pays attention to him for the whole 3 hours (unlike I can do when trying to work at home!)such an amazing idea!
Love it!
1. I get uninterrupted work (=productivity )
2. My kids are safe and having fun! (guilt free mommy )
3. We come together and leave together (no drop off in a different location )
4. I get to meet other like-minded moms
Thanks Working Ensemble!!
