Lots of room but very out dated. 19 50's furniture. Too many restrictions. Owners very nice.

Highly recommend Woodhaven country lodge. Very friendly owners. David is just absolutely an amazing down to earth person. (Words can't describe). He gives his 110% to meet your needs. Bonus, they are pet friendly, and back onto the lake. They are just 25min away from Bobcaygeon and Kawartha dairy. One of the best cottages I have been to.

David & Company is one of the best operator and host that you can ask for in the hospitality business. Their 'home/lodge' and the environment it creates is by far the definition of home away from home. With his pet-friendly accommodations and environment it is a paradise to get away from the busy life in the city. Highly Recommend!

The most perfect destination for an event. My best friend and his partner were married at Woodhaven on Sept 24 2016. Words cannot express how accommodating, kind and helpful both David and Michael were ! The gardens were stunning, the meals were fantastic, and the facilities were immaculate !

Each of the rooms had everything you need, each with their own unique style, attention to detail, and just all round perfect ! It felt like we had spent a day in Paradise.

Thank you David and Michael and all your staff for making this event one we will all remember for ever ! You have a 100 star facility.

I highly recommend Woodhaven for your event ! Or for just a weekend getaway !

My husband and I were looking for a nice get away with our furbaby, an Australian Shepherd mix named Harley. David and Michael (our hosts) were absolutely fantastic and made us feel right at home. We stayed in George's Suite which was an "efficiency" suite, meaning we could make our own breakfast/lunch/dinner in the kitchen in the suite, or join the rest of the couples in the dining room. The lodge is located in a wooded area, which allowed our pup to roam free, off leash. There are fenced in areas to play as well, and since it was winter, the lake was another fun place to run and explore. There's a library of both books and movies, a swim spa, and a town nearby so there's lots to do. We'll for sure be returning in the summer time.
