3 of us rented a room in this motel for 2 nights, August 15 and 16, 2017. Two of us have environmental and chemical sensitivities. Nalini (the owner) had staff go out of the way to accommodate our needs. The beds were very comfortable. We had a small fridge to store our food. TV was great in the evening. It was close to the POW WOW in Curve Lake (25 mins). It is a very clean and well kept motel. The owner has upgraded the rooms over the years and it is refreshing to not have the typical, worn-out look and smell. Also, the price for 3 was reasonable. I will return.

We paid 70$ more per night the previous weekend in Toronto for substantially less,,,,i.e. frig, microwave, coffee maker, stove, decent tv line up. Great owner. Sweet town. Lots of quality, moderate-priced meals nearby. Locks and canal right across the street (ah, yes, the sight of 500,000$ boats I don't have to pay for! 😃)

Great place to stay when visiting Bobcaygeon! Close enough to Kinmount to enjoy a visit to the movies in a theatre from the past! New Rockland Motel is well laid out with dishes, coffeemaker, microwave, stove and small frig. No pots/pans. Across the road is portion of the Trent River system. Just around the corner is all the shopping you could want! Lovely restaurants and the town has a Beer Store and an LCBO if that is your desire..

This motel is a nice, quaint location, close to the water and the shops. Plenty of eats within walking distance. Rooms were clean, owner was very nice. Pillows could use an upgrade (too soft) and the pricing is a bit high but i had a wedding to go to and it was choose to everything.

Have stayed here many summers. Great view of the Trent canal lock system just across the street. The rooms are very clean and the owner running the motel is very friendly and helpful. If you enjoy waking up in the morning to a beautiful view this is the place.
