I truly enjoy flying out of this airport. It is well laid out, with good options for food, drinks and last minute needs. It is a vast improvement from the old, crowded, dingy terminal we used to have.

Horrible disregarding and uncaring security representative! If giving a 0 star, that is what I would have provided. For my flight there was no Gate listed on either my boarding pass or on the boards. So I decided to ask the security representatives. One was very nice and helpful but pulled away. The other was very rude, raised his tone, and pointed myself in the wrong direction. I had already check at the usual gates because I flight out of this airport about 3 times per month. I was very disappointed with the service and the representative which has officially place a poor image on the airport as a whole for myself. I am now looking at flying to different places now or will consider driving after this last experience.

Always a great experience. I live in this city and travel a lot for work. Winnipeg Airport staff always go above and beyond.

One of the other posters stated it is within walking distance to downtown. I caution readers that downtown Winnipeg is NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE of this airport. It is, however, about a 10 to 20 min cab ride depending on traffic. :)

Just like every other airport. It just got a remodel, and its very nice and modern. Very nice WestJet staff and security. We had an early flight, but all the staff looked very awake, and always wished us a Safe Trip.

Not a big airport, but that's great because you don't have to walk forever to get to your gate or your bags. Very modern and has some good food options past security.

A small wild wild-west airport yet surprisingly well-built and clean. Very, very few shops & restaurants on offer. Excellently connected to downtown, although that's practically a walking-distance away.

Nice clean airport. The luxury vehicles they have ar the baggage claim area look cool. The lines to clear security aren't too long. How ever they do need some more plug in stationa to charge cellphones and laptops. Not many available.

Not the worst, not the best. Restaurants close by 7pm. Some were closing by 6:30. Security staff are never smiling. There is a Tim's and Starbucks. Check in and security usually go fast. It is clean in the airport, generally. The vegan/vegetarian options are improving. Charging stations for phones are weird tall bar type tables with plugs under them. There are no chairs so you just have to stand there. Some are near chairs so you can sit, but others are 1.5m from a chair so you either block the isle with your chord or you stand. There is a quite a bit of seating at the gates but throughout the airport near restaurants and bars can be limited.

Been there only once for a flight since they rebuilt. I thought very spacious and easy to understand unlike some airports. Still a manageable size versus Vancouver or Denver, for example. Not hard to find assistance in a few moments if you had a question.

If picking up friends, I always wait in the neighborhood in car listening to radio when expecting a flight coming in. When flight comes in, I wait for the cell call when cleared customs or whatever, drive in, park and help with bags and leave! Just being cheap! But delays add up and if really long, depending on where you park, you may have to move your car!
