  Boyfriend and I were in for the first time on his birthday! We were seated right away, and waited just the right amount of time to figure out what we wanted for drinks. Our server was awesome, knowledgeable about the food, and very attentive. The food was outstanding. We normally stop in at whitespot for dinner as we pass through Dawson, but this place has definitely given us a reason to go back! Hoping our second time gives us reason for a third!

  The food has always been great here. I've never had a bad meal. Friendly servers are always checking to make sure your experience is the best it can be. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Dawson Creek.

  We we're seated immediately. Brought one drink. Waited. Had our order taken and got our food. Then we we're forgotten about for 40 minutes. Terrible service and basic food. Our waitress openly said she "forgot about yous over here..." Which was disappointing for our anniversary dinner. We won't be back and we won't recommend.
  
  It was like Boston Pizza without the franchising and whatever minimal standards that comes with it.

  I come to Dawson Crew for work and have been to this restaurant a few times over the past 2-3 years. Each time thinking things will change with the service - NOPE!! Food is good but the service is some of the worse I have seen. I will not return here in the future. Went there tonight and waited over 10 min was not asked if I wanted a drink or have my order taken. Got up and left the restaurant. If u want decent food but poor service then I guess give it a try.

  I read the 4 or 5 star reviews and I can only say I must have had an extremely off night here or this place has really deteriorated. Several coworkers have also had bad experiences so I tend to lean toward the latter.
  The hotels nearby cater to a lot of oil and gas workers eating off the company dime so the prices reflect this. Overpriced and poor value.
  First of all in my visit the service was VERY slow for a 3/4 empty restaurant. The mostly indifferent staff seemed immediately put off when they realized I wasnt going to swill drinks on a company card I guess and paid little attention to me after that. Food was ok, nothing special, and it arrived cold after my long wait. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there and there was no way I was waiting another hour for a burger. There are many better spots in Dawson in my opinion.
  Also, be very cautious when ordering take out. 2 different coworkers of mine have ordered take out on separate occasions only to recieve the wrong order, which coincidentally also arrived ice cold.
  Dissapointing to say the least.

  I have never had anything less than an exceptional experience at the fix. The are not part of any franchise chain, nor are they a sub par stand alone disappointment. They offer a variety of very well prepared and presented food. True, it is a bit on the expensive side, but you get what your pay for. And what you get is delicious. And served by a professional staff, who effortlessly walk the line between Suits and Cheers. Easily the best restaurant venue in Dawson, and probably in the whole Peace Country.
