The Rose is the gem of Walden Community. This place has tons of space with big areas for big groups or small for intimate booths and tables. A rarity in most places. I've had three visits all in different areas and odd as it sounds, each space has a different vibe and feel. Personal booth TVs for face to face time with the bf or large tables for cheering on teams during games and fights. Recommend their pizza, the Chef's mistake is not a mistake at all it's DELICIOUS. 1st time visiting and service was great! We only had wings but we're happy that they were cooked perfectly and crispy. We also had the calamari, as we are always on a
the search for decent calamari. This one was nothing great some pieces cooked well, some over cooked and getting soggy. However, we will definitely be returning to try more of their great looking menu :)

Updating my review to 4 stars! We are locals and this place has picked up their game ! We come almost weekly now and are always impressed. As a person with allergies you are limited but you can still eat. They make a mean burger! Fresh ground and super flavourful. Their chicken wings are steak bites are the bomb!! Since new ownership they allow kids daily which we love! It has definitely improved with new management! Service is hit and miss, but when they're on they're on!

I've really enjoyed my recent visits to Windsor rose. This place has everything you could want out of a sports bar combined with a fine dining experience. The service has been great for me and I have yet to try a dish that I haven't liked. Overall I have to recommend Windsor rose to anybody hungry, thirsty or both.

Located in the south community of Walden, the Windsor Rose is a welcoming break from your typical dark crowded pub. Open and spacious inside with an invited wrap around bar. 2 outdoor patios, one at street level that is glassed in to shield from the wind and noise. It is is inviting not crowded. A roof top patio featuring a large screen t.v. allows Sunday afternoon football while enjoying the beautiful weather. The food is consistently good and is reasonably priced.

Great beer selection, but the food is your usual pub fare, nothing to write home about.

Which is good, because who really writes home anymore anyway? When was the last time you dialed a phone? If your phone doesn't have a bell, how can it ring?

Lunch experience here was terrible. Food was less than mediocre and the service was less than enjoyable. The waitress took forever to check up and had no idea how to react when told how the food was. However she did take it off the bill, but doubtful it was even told to cook to make improvements.

I know there's probably more to it than just making a comment, but it would be nice to have some live entertainment once in awhile? If it's room you're looking for how about redoing the HUGE wrap around bar that take up 25 percent or your floor space? Again.. Probably more to it than that..but just sayin.

Had razzberry mojito and peach martini.
Our server was great and the patio space was nice. Not too busy on a Sat night. We had a great time but noticed the price is slightly on a higher side. This is the only one in the area.

Used to be a fav. Prices took a big jump. A 20oz beer costs $9.25, which feels excessive. Regular priced beers are cut to 400ml which feels stingy. Too many other great restaurants around to come back.

Had brunch this morning. Horrible service. Wasn't very busy at all. We had 3 different people helping our table if you would call it help. Food was cold when it was served. Didn't get a coffee refill for over 15 minutes until we flagged someone down. When we complained they did not care. Manager made no effort to apologize or make things better. We'd been here a couple times before and won't be back.

The reviews so far seem pretty accurate. Service was OK but the hot wings are fantastic. I wouldn't order the nachos again though. The wait is a bit long and the prices are probably a bit high.

Great cosy atmosphere, servers are always kind and helpful. It's on the more expensive side for drinks and food (with respect to pubs), with an older more mature crowd. If your looking for a great pub and don't mind paying a little more than this is a great choice.
