Cant stop coming back, 3rd time back specifically because everything about this hostel is truly wicked. Great people, amazing atmosphere and kick arse outings

Surprised about this find. Great host and clean bath rooms etc. Very tidy for a hostel. Highest of recommendation. Price is okay.

I was greeted by someone who didn't seem like they were im a good mood. They showed me around the place quickly and then brought me to my room. They barely cracked a smile. The room I stayed in had 2 bunk beds and was super small. My roomates were all cool and we got along well. The price was very affordable and fair. This was my first, and probably my last stay at a hostel. Not that they're a bad place to stay They just aren't for me.

    Service wasn't greating for strangers.
Travellers seems loving gaz and nuclear energies, well, I guess it is this city effect.
Rooms are very small and thigh,
Walls are carton. You hear everything from all other rooms; even see the light of them through the ceiling!
    Not clean.

I strongly suggest the other hostel: hosteling International. Same price, better location, much better quality.

Outrageously pretentious. Was really underwhelmed when the woman running the desk suggested that my license -- to prove that I'm not a resident of AB -- was a fake. She then went on to tell me that the policy of only allowing travelers was because "we want this place to have a really cool traveller and backpacking culture. Like, you know, me: I'm from Germany." It was hard to want to stay thereafter, and I've stayed at a tonne of hostels and never encountered someone with quite her finesse. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe I was having a bad day. But she definitely had no chill for someone who considers themselves a "traveller", and it totally rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, seemed like a decent enough place.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Clean bedsheets (however they don't change blanket cover). The A/C is loud and right above your head so it's breezy and windy. Small parking lot.

I can understand refusal to accept guests who are from Calgary. But just keep in mind. If you live anywhere in Alberta at all, they will not accept you.

Great hostel. Comfy beds. Good common room, and nice amenities. Could do with more toilets upstairs. But other than that no complaints!

Stayed in my fair share of Hostels all over the world and this is by far one of the best. Doesn't look too fancy from the outside but don't let that fool you. Very well maintained with friendly fellow traveler staff. Has free wifi, computers, internet phone, continental breakfast, parking and yes they even wash and dry your clothes for free! Great location right across from "the dome", train station and right on 17 ave so Calgary's best bar's and restaurants are within walking distance. Will be back for sure. Thanks guy's

This place has really good facilities. Free wifi, free breakfast, computers, printing , scanning and calling international and local calls all for free. Laundry is free if you stay for 3 or more days. Everyone is really friendly and its an easy 15min walk from downtown!
