  I had an issue with my car's DPF filter. The VW dealership in Vancouver refused to fix it citing it was my fault for driving where they had zero idea what they were talking about. I drive my car long distances to and from work daily. Then VW Canada didn't return my phone calls. It took over a month for them to do anything about it . Horrendous costumer service and I'm not even one those people that really care too much if companies have excellent service. Just looked for reasonable service, that's all. But clearly not even close.

  I love my 2019 GTI, but VW Canada customer service is atrocious.
  
  Chilliwack VW mangled the window switches on my brand new GTI, while doing warranty work on that exact same door panel. When I called them on it, they told me it was "pre existing damage", and informed me the shop foreman took pictures as "proof". Hilarious and absurd.
  
  Chilliwack VW, after multiple phone calls from me, wanted to file a fraudulent warranty claim with VW Canada, rather than own up to their mistake. I didnt want them to touch my car again, so I contacted VW Customer Care. After an "investigation" they sided with their "highly skilled" tech, and denied my claim. I will now be out $93 to repair my own car, because of their hack mechanic.
  
  My family has had VWs since 1984. I currently own 4. Not good, VW, not good at all.

  I'm an Owner of a Porsche Cayenne Diesel engine. VW Canada refused to pay me for the settlement of the incident happen for their mistake about the engine. Customer service are extremely rude on the phone. First said sent me email to notice me about the claim, then not able to say when the email sent, change to post on the website. Such a big company would lie and providing services like this, don't even talk about the service dealership would fixing my car. Bye bye VW Canada. from a customer for 20 years, but no more.

  Do Not Buy a Volkswagen!! Had my car for only a year and I’ve already had so many mechanical issues. The dealership doesn’t help at all and when I direct messaged Volkswagen Canada on Instagram they ignored me.

  Whatever you do, never give any VW employee your email address. I now get daily emails from them and the only way to unsubscribe is to call an 800 number and sit on hold indefinitely.
  Based on this experience alone I will never buy a VW (not to mention their fraudulent business practices re; auto fuel efficiencies).
