My kids have been seeing Dr. Vertel for a few years now, and we love this practice! The office is beautifully designed for children and the staff is knowledgeable and attentive to their needs. As a Mom I appreciate the efficent office staff who make it easy to book an appointment (or change one)!

The kids love going here to see the dentist and happily sit through their treatment as they are distracted by the cartoons that are playing. Also felt safe with their covid protocols.

I have been seeing Dr. Nancy for quite a few years and I would never go anywhere else she is amazing with the kids and always makes them feel comfortable. Their awards for the kids always make my boys want to come back. All the staff is super lovely and they have went out of their way to help me and my family is dental needs a few times and I am so forever grateful for that

I’m actually amazing this practice has many positive reviews and experiences. I’m not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, however my negative experience warrants a review.
We first went to this office in august 2020, where we were quoted outrageous amounts of money to do treatment on my 2 daughters (we have 80% dental coverage) I was then given extreme attitude when I told the surgical coordinator that it was highly unaffordable.
We recently got a referral to half moon from our family practice, for one tooth that needs extensive treatment as our family dentist isn’t comfortable treating it. Initially when I called to book the appointment, the receptionist told me the visit would be 68$.
Upon examination, the dentist said she would need more than just the one tooth done, when I had stated my budget for specialist dentistry doesn’t accommodate extensive work, and that we had just had fillings at our family dentist. She then told me they would absolutely not fix one tooth under oral sedation there, as that’s not what they do. She suggested I go elsewhere.
Leaving the office the front desk told me they were waiting for a treatment plan to then I had said there won’t be one. She barked at me “you’re not getting any treatment!”
They charged me 80$ For the visit that led absolutely nowhere. As I was pulling up to my home, they called and offered my money back, as I believe they felt I was treated unfairly.
I was made to feel like I was to poor to afford treatment at this office, and I got rude customer service from the front desk.response / report this review -

I am a big believer in helping my children develop positive experiences especially when it comes to health care. I want to make these types of services as smooth as possible because they’re a part of life.
The dentist and assistants are SO warm and engaging with my children.
My kids LOVE coming here and always ask when they can come back. How many kids do that for doctors and dentists? This is because the atmosphere is so fun, the staff friendly and the whole service pleasant.
Please consider this place for your child’s next dental visit. You won’t regret it and your kids will be happy you did.response / report this review
