Bed was comfy, but the shower took forever to get warm up even when turning it all the way hot. And the staff were friendly and helpful

This hotel staff is friendly, and the price is reasonable.

    DON’T STAY HERE!!!
Just keep driving if you see this place, not worth the money especially if you’re in the motel part.
We were booked here last minute for a work event, needed 3 rooms. They screwed the booking up so we had only 2 booked and the 3rd room had to be paid for on our dime. We get in the room and the door wouldn’t properly close, had to put our shoulder into it to get it to close fully. Our heat wouldn’t work, like we turned it all the way and it never turned on all and considering it was -2 outside it meant it was freezing in our room. Beds are hard and with only thin minimal blankets it means you never get warm.
In the morning housekeeping was knocking on our door before 9am and having never asked for a wake up call we found this strange. Also, when we opened the door no one was there so it just seemed they wanted us out as early as possible.
Out of the other two rooms booked, one also didn’t have heat while the other had no tv, no wifi and no hot water for the shower.
We were supposed to stay there 3 nights but thank heavens we were able to get out of there after one night.

Nice beds but the free breakfast was one of those "make your own pancakes" and the Wi-Fi was horrible

Great pool! Fun waterslide and hot tub. I wished the jets were stronger. Hotel is dated, but the beds are comfortable and the staff is really helpful. Decent breakfast and wifi was medium strength. Thanks so much! We feel rested and ready for work!

If you are looking for a hotel rather than staying at the Golden Eagle Casino - cancel your trip. This is no way shape or form a suitable hotel to stay. It is desperate need of everything. They even put a "Do not Disturb" sign on our door to avoid cleaning the room. Real sneaky. There is a sleazy bar and off-sale and you can imagine what happens when the bar gets out. There were even people helping themselves to the continental breakfast that didn't even stay there. The smell of cigarettes is everywhere.

So gross! Wish I could leave but I booked with Expedia and they would not refund. Half smoked cigarette found on the chair when I showed up! Sheets appear to have been chewed by mice. Floor wet. I won't be sleeping tonight. BEWARE OF THIS TRAVELODGE.

Can't say this is near the top of my places to stay. I was already a bit wary because of the reviews but this was the only place available to me at the time, and I thought I would see for myself and come to my own conclusions.

I walked in to the lobby, and the smell of that weird public washroom spray hit me. It took a few minutes for anyone to come help me, as there was nobody around, and there was no bell. They took payment before I was given the fee breakdown.

Took the slow, outdated, yet still functioning elevator up to the top floor in the tower. The locks are chip functioning, which was fine. The room itself seemed alright, and though the housekeeper left a personal note saying that they hoped I enjoy my stay, there were coffee mug ring residue on every table. One of the rings was either oil or some sort of slime - I used the corner of the note pad, and avoided it completely. The bathroom was alright as well; no complaints there.

With the checkout process, I didn't come across any issues.

Overall, it was fairly quiet. It was a Wednesday night that I stayed, so I didn't expect too much activity considering it was along a busier street. I just felt left with an overall impression that they just wanted my money. I won't be coming back unless I am desperately tired. Otherwise, I'll drive the extra 1.5 hours in the dark to Lloydminster.

Rooms we are little dirty and dingy, the WiFi didn't work, the location is fine in downtown, the elevators are super sketchy, when I walked downstairs to take a look at the hotel amenities I was rudely greeted by an older receptionist. The pool area is disgusting definitely don't go there. The beds were not to bad and the pillows were OK. Washroom is substandard but functional. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was that the one younger receptionist was very pleasant and hard working. I would not recommend this hotel.
