  This beautiful former mining town is right on the edge of the Banff national park. Very close to Banff it is the perfect choice for a less commercialised holiday. Fantastic facilities, great mountain trails for both hiking and mountain biking. You also have the world renowned Nordic Centre. Situated right on the beautiful Bow River, this town will not disappoint and is the perfect alternative to Banff. Overlooked by the fabulous Three Sisters this is a special place.
