Elderly Father's older Buick had transmission trouble, while passing through to a wedding, caused by low fluid level. Was expertly diagnosed and only charged for the fluid top up even though they were fully booked up. Great service and a great attitude by all staff and owner.
Was able to continue journey through the beautiful Bow Valley and Rocky Mountains. THANKS.

I can't say enough good things about my experience today. I was driving from Calgary and had recently gotten my truck serviced at CMP. All of the sudden my truck started shaking violently so I immediately pulled over to check what the problem was. My lag nuts on my tires were so loose one fell off in my hand!!! So I limped my truck to Can-Bow Motors. They immediately took my truck in to make sure there was no additional damage to my tire mounts. Drove and re-torqued my tires FOR FREE. Not only did they service my truck in a timely manner, they made me feel better after I was scared, shaking and crying from the experience. A big thank you to Jen the service advisor and to the mechanic who re-torqued my tires that CMP should've done in the first place. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would.

I popped into CanBow as an engine light came on just as I was passing Canmore. The team there helped me out straight away in identifying and fixing the problem even though I had just dropped in without an appointment. I have been going there ever since and am always well looked after.

All I can say is wow! Dec 23rd at 4pm I called and needed 2 new tires due to flat tires. They closed at 5pm. They did not have my size of tire in stock but that didn't matter. Jenn Cumming went out of her way and drove to another shop to pick up my tires. She and her staff stayed late to mount and balance my new tires and get me back on the road to BC. Talk about true service! Thanks you Jenn and team!

My son was travelling through Alberta when his car started smoking and overheating. Can Bow Motors tried to charge him nearly $1600 to replace every gasket in his Chevy Malibu. Besides the quote being completely overpriced, the diagnosis was 100% wrong. Only because they wanted $1600 for an $800-$1000 job did we question them. We thought that was excessive and we paid them $120 for the combustion test and diagnosis and towed our car to another shop. The other shop completed one simple test, they noticed a cracked coolant reservoir cap, replaced it and filled the car up with antifreeze. They ran it for 30 minutes with no leak!! Car fixed for less than $100!!! AND HE DROVE IT ALL THE WAY TO WINNIPEG!!!

I called Can Bow to report their incompetence and demanded our $120 back because they did tests that were totally unnecessary and incorrect! The first thing they should have done was check the systems visually, including the cap and hoses, fill it up with coolant and check for leaks. Because we were not onsite to question them, they went ahead and performed the last, and most expensive, test on the list and wanted to replace all the gaskets even though they could not confirm they were broken. We could have spent $1600 to rip the engine apart and replace the intake gaskets for no reason.

THEY REFUSED OUR REFUND!!!! $120 plus towing charges for a kid travelling though Alberta for nothing!!
