The site overlooking the lake is one of the best sunrise spots I've camped at.
This campground is great, with the one drawback being the lack of fire pits. Make sure to bring a small camp stove if you're staying here, as you won't have any other way to cook. The campsite itself has 15 tent pads large enough for a 4-person tent. The outhouse is clean and in good shape, and the bear lockers hold quite a bit. Be sure to book online up to 3 months in advance on the AlbertaParks website, as the sites book up fast. There are many great hikes around the area. We stopped here after passing over Northover Ridge.
