The Yellow Door is heading to the Village au Pied-du-Courant! All ages are welcome to join us on August 5th and enjoy an afternoon in this incredible community space.
The Yellow Door will be presenting the following activities:
~ Knitting Circle - 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm ~ Wood Carving Workshop- 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Dynamic in nature, the Village is an urban living lab for the experimentation and development of new practices in design, entrepreneurship and the arts. In order to prioritize accessibility and encourage community engagement, entry and all programming is -- and always will be -- free.”

Must have experience with QUICKBOOKS. *** Commitment: Review Quickbooks every few months (2+ hrs) & file our taxes at the end of the fiscal year (5+ hrs). $$$: We do have a small budget to help compensate for your time. Last week at the Annual YD Summer Social, our members enjoyed a fascinating presentation by Sheldon Harvey of Bird Protection QC. If you are a birder, or interested in trying out birdwatching for the first time, check out BPQ- they even have trips within city limits!

This Friday's Featured Performer at the Yellow Door Coffeehouse: Ellyn Woods - doors open at 8 pm, admission is free (so bring a billion friends) _ part of the evening is an Open Stage - the time to sign up to perform, is between 8 and 8:30, when the real fun begins! And the fun continues right up until it's time to stack the chairs and wash the cups, everybody's favourite late night activity!

Volunteer with the Yellow Door's Urban Garden!
From May to September, we are looking for volunteers who are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 AM - 5:30 PM, to help with planting, watering, & weeding. No previous gardening experience necessary – just a willingness to get your hands dirty!
