  How important the stars are for even everyday living: On Carl's Pale Blue Dot, if we imagined looking in from the immense cosmos toward humanity, we all might seem invisibly tiny, maybe even insignificant in our travails - but through the wonder and careful learning of astronomy (and outreach like RASC's) we humans actually reach to the edges of our universe - standing almost infinitely tall in seeking and spirit. How much better day to day challenges and tasks can seem if we thus realize how tall we actually are. How much better too when children learn this practicality early and keep it in their habits lifelong. We in RASC are vital fellow explorers with them always.
