Friendly staff, good food and a fantastic View! This restaurant is a local favorite and a fantastic way to end your day at the beach!

Good and inexpensive drinks compared to a lot of Grand Bend, beautiful sunset view, and awesome pub food - great for just regular grub like burgers a d stuff like that. I bring all my friends from out of town here and haven't had a bad experience.
It's a mostly outdoor restaurant so keep the weather in mind for sure.
My only problem with this place is sometimes when it's crowded there are some tables they'll put you at where you can't see as much what's going on, and if it's raining there aren't a lot of places to sit where you'll be warm and dry.response / report this review -

Food is good pub quality. Lots to drink. Fun atmosphere with lots of patio space to watch the beach, water and the sunsets.

The view and atmosphere are fabulous. Best patio in town. Menu is confusing and has more booze options than food. Food quality isnt the best and they managed to screw up my chicken fingers. When they brought the second plate they were better. Beer is cold at least.

Drink menu is as big as the dinner menu. Cute waitresses. Bbq and deep fried comfort food. Popular spot.

Luckily the Sangria numbed our senses because the food and service was horrible!!! The salmon house salad tasted like someone was drunk when they cooked it!

May long weekend we couldn't resist heading down to Growling Gator to meet up with family. We sat at the bar and waited for a sunny table which Sam, the owner took great care in obtaining for us. All dishes ordered were excellent! Kids enjoyed a leisurely lunch, while we took the Grand kids to the park across the street. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Grand Bend. Best wishes for another great season!
