  Awesome beer store and bar. Very clean facilities and great choice of beers. Very friendly staff. Rooms are great for the price. Homestyle food in the restaurant. Great location. Everything is a walking distance away. You can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, fast food restaurants, Walmart, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, superstore, Starbucks and lots more.

  Some staff nice enough. No heat, told construction was reason. No offer of a freestanding unit as it was 28° outside. Management didn't seem to care with a "oh well, sorry". Restaurant is fair. Nicer choices within walking distance. Very dated, damaged, slight fire smoke smell, not from cigarettes, so be sure to take photos of room upon checkout. $100 damage fee charged and refunded.

  We were there for a fundraising social. Everything was clean, tables were cleared regularly. Was a great experience, I would consider having an event there.

  Super crappy! Could not screw up tries and gravy but they did and it took 20 min! Plus drinks over priced.. why? It's a dive it stinks. Never again! Super bitchy staff

  They have some sand volleyball courts behind it which were nice to play in. A bit of a hidden away locating but fenced in and nice.

  I was visiting a guest here. The hotel is very dated, which can be excused, but the general feeling of grim cant. Poor lighting, dark colors (That are faded and dingy too) and near zero air circulation lead to an atmosphere that is uneasy. I wouldn't ever stay here myself.

  5 stars if your looking for a cheap place to stay the night. Don't need credit card. It's comfortable and quiet. The old building has a look like it was a hopping place a long time ago. Like your stepping back into an old move. You can almost see the gentleman sitting around smoking their cigars.

  It was a quaint lounge. Dimmly lit, but enjoyable nonetheless. I had a frosted mug of Budwieser which quenched my thirst. I had a small bowl of pretzels which worked up my appetite something fierce. The beer wench Helga returned with another frosted mug, this time filled to the brim with Coors Lite. My dreams came true, I had died and gone to the cavalier inn. 10/10 would drink again.
