The new owners have certainly kept up the quality. When my mother was alive and would come to visit she would insist on me taking her to "that German restaurant. " Please bring back the peppercorn steak. :)

this place is great. it reminds me of the food that my mother would make. Its defiantly authentic German food. I told a few of my friends about this this place and they loved it as well. The beer selection is also good.

Just like the food my grandma use to make from the old country. Large portions, extremely fresh and full of flavor. We ate there twice on the same weekend getaway and would make the 2 hours drive again just for dinner!

My wife and I have stopped here many times but good never dine as we never had the foresight to make a reservation. We finally got in and had a great experience. Sat out on the patio enjoying the beauty of Bragg Creek, had a great bottle of wine and delicious food. They even catered to our children, 2 under the age of 2, without any hesitation.

The food is Alright but the dining experience is awful. We had to wait for 45 minutes to find out our table has been given to another group. They charge you the tip just because you dine there in a larger group without asking you. The waiter was very rude and unwelcoming. When we commented that it has been about an hour and children are hungry indeed, this has been said politely, the response was "I don't believe it has been an hour yet". I would never go there and would discourage everyone around me against dining there.

A real gem in the area. The food was as gorgeous as it was tasty. My steak was perfectly cooked and the overall flavour was incredible. Highly recommended!

Lovely food and exquisite presentations. Beer is poured in many different formats.
We had the elk appetizer and the pork shank, and both were tender and delightfully prepared. The shank actually melted, it was wonderful. Service was good.
One of the best meals we had in Bragg Creek. Expect a mixed-age crowd, groups and couples. They accommodated a crying infant without making a fuss.response / report this review -

This place was a nice surprise. We were recommended to go here and glad we did for sure. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. Our sever knew her stuff and was very helpful in the selection process. Very nice experience, we will be back again.

Our favourite German restaurant on Bragg Creek. Worth the drive from Calgary too! Have the Rouladen its excellent and very authentic. The selection of quality beers is excellent as well. Lots of parking and a big deck out front for the summer months.

A great go to if you hunger for German food. The service was excellent and the food was very good, tasted like there was a German grandma in the kitchen just sending out some love on a plate. You don't leave hungry that's for sure! Our 2nd time eating there and we would go back.
