The landscape north of Tazin Lake gets pretty wild! This stretch of the Abitau River can be seen during trips to some of our fly-out lakes.

"Tazin TV 2018 - Episode 5: Lightning x 2" Two pike over 50" within 4 days?? Lightning strikes twice for Tazin Lake Lodge owner Trevor Montgomery as he hooks a personal best and then 4 days later does battle with another giant. Saskatchewan fishing at it's best.

In over 10 trips to Canada to different Lodges, a week at a Tazin this summer was the best. One day I boated only 5 Lake Trout fish but 3 of them were over 42 inches in length weighing 27,4 42 and 43 lbs. Another day, I boated a 52 incher with a 28 inch girth estimated at 50.96 lbs. The quality(size) of fish was phenomenal. The food in the lodge was prepared by a 5-star chef and the house staff and guides were passionate about pleasing.

This is the most absolute gorgeous lake I've ever fished. The scenery, the staff and the fish in this lake are all amazing!!! If you are an avid outdoor sportsman, you can't pass up on this fishery!!
