I see by the wonderful pictures here that the fun times and great comraderie have not changed. The SLII was a total life changer for me and was the main reason I ended up with a career with the Canadian Coast Guard. Where I spent 35 years working using the knowledge and experiences I gained onboard the "Brig". This has always been a great experience for our youth and will continue to be for some time I hope. Best wishes for the coming season and I hope to see "The Brig" up here on Lake Huron during the Tall Ships races. Dave Northmore

This experienced changed my life. The ship has taught me how to be self reliant and also how to be a strong and fair leader. I never knew I could be this assertive and confident until I spent my summers sailing and my winters working on the vital pieces of the ship. I met lifelong friends and really grew up in 3 years. Miss my ship days!
