To put it simply, Tj's The Kiddies Store staff takes the confusion (and fear) out of buying things that are safe and well built for your babies and children. The staff really know their products and the competitors products too. They will help you find the right product for you and your child. From cribs and mattresses to strollers, toys and accessories, Tj's has the right stuff!

Besides all the wonderful children's items, you can get parts for strollers such as tires and inner tubes. A truly great kid's store!

Good selection of items, friendly staff, very helpful and knowledgeable when we were buying both our car seats! It's great because you can install the car seats in your vehicle to ensure it fits.

Best kids store, staff knows every single question you have and they have solid knowledge about what they do. Not like other store where they wanna sell you what's most expensive or only what they have, these guys genuinely wanna help you with every resort they have.

Great customer service.
We're happy with the quality and price of the car seat we just picked up and our online order was ready for pickup the next day.
I arrived pretty close to closing and there were still 2 staff members helping people out. One of them happily took my order to my car for me and even as I was leaving they were still helping customers with no hint of rushing to close up. Nice to see.response / report this review -

WARNING, potential Cancer causing products sold here!! I purchased an Orbit G3 set online through TJ’s a few weeks ago and arranged to pick it up at the Surrey location. Once I had it at home I opened it up and discovered the car seat expired in 4 years. According to Orbit they should be good for 7. I called the store to let them know and they told me I could not return it because the box was opened. At that point I went online to look for another seat to see if it made sense to just buy a new one before fighting with TJ’s. As I was looking online, I found multiple links that said the orbit seat contained a high amount of the TDCPP chemical which has been known to cause cancer. First, it is not TJ’s fault they unknowingly had this product in there line up. The major issue is they were still selling it after this came up a few months prior! To make it even worse, when I dealt with their regional manager “Karl”, he tried to justify why they were selling it and blamed it all on their supplier. The only reason I spoke with Karl was to let him know about the product they were selling and that he may want to look into it. Based off of his response, I would not trust anything this company sells as it is all about the sale for Karl and his team, they don’t care about the kids they are harming. Based off of the value’s I saw the TJ’s team demonstrate, I would highly suggest staying away from this company and go with a more reputable one. At the end of the day, they ended up taking the stroller back and also crediting my card but most likely ended up selling it to someone else.

I bought the bulk of my baby stuff here. When you're having your first child you can feel overwhelmed and confused about what to buy, when to buy it, how many etc. The staff here are amazing. They are so knowledgeable on EVERYTHING!! The same girl was able to tell us the different features of various strollers the pros and cona for each and was able to answer ALL of the questions and concerns we had. She was even able to provide a swers to questions we didn't think of!! She continued to share her expertise on the different mattresses, bedding and high chairs. I felt like we had a personal shopping assistant. I've been back many times and have experienced the same level of knowledge from other staff members. They train their staff very here which made this new mom feel so much more at ease. Great job TJ's!!
