Sweet Impressions is actually sweet and impressive. Especially the Owner - Ms. Aynsley, she was really kind to help me placing a birthday cake order for my boyfriend in Canada even I'm in Vietnam. He eventually had a great day with your cake. In every sense I would like to recommend customers to experience this lovely bakery and please accept my compliment, my appreciation to Sweet Impressions.

I really wanted to have a donut wall at my wedding but didn't know how to make it happen until I saw Sweet Impressions Donut Shoppe display at the Wonderful Wedding Show. After that, I knew I had to work with Sweet Impressions on my wedding day desserts!
The Donut Shoppe was perfect, complete with lots of delicious donuts (all custom designed to match my wedding decor), florals, and a tasty two-tier cake!
The team at Sweet Impressions was so friendly and easy to work with, and they let my husband and I taste all the donuts during our consultation. These aren't just regular cake donuts, they are SO much better than anything I've tasted before.
If you're looking for cakes and desserts for your wedding that taste as good as they look, then I highly recommend you go with Sweet Impressions!response / report this review -

Sweet Impressions-the name says it all in the desserts you will get from this amazing local dessert boutique. The staff at the location are very warming, and I may be in my 20's but I felt like a young child when I first walked into this bake shop. If I could, I would buy everything in that store every Friday! my top suggestions would be the Cloud 9 cake. Omg! definitely feel like on cloud 9 when you eat it. Adults and Children who have peanut allergies, have no fear, sweet impressions is here! I have also seen them work with local charities and community events, which is great to see. Don't see many bake shops that invest time like that. If this was a franchise, I would invest in them.

I have tried their products on many occasions, mostly cupcakes. I’ll start off by saying that I don’t have a huge sweet tooth - I especially don’t like overly sweet anything. I find their icing to be very sweet, and the cupcakes are topped with HUGE amounts of it! I usually end up wiping half of the icing off the top.
The cupcake itself is always oily. I have to wipe grease off my fingers after eating one, especially the red velvet. There is not much flavour to the cake itself either. I feel like they are really banking on their icing to carry them through. To me the cake is what makes all the difference. The icing on top is literally all that it’s supposed to be: icing on top of a great tasting product. Instead I always have overpoweringly sweet icing on top of a tasteless greasy cake.
I gave three stars as they have a flashy store and nice employees that give good customer service.response / report this review -

I have picked-up baking from Sweet Impressions on numerous occasions. As someone with a peanut allergy, I much appreciate the peanut free business model.
Most importantly, the baking is always delicious and the staff are always warm and helpful.
I just ordered from Sweet Impressions for a corporate event. The cake was a big hit and the service was amazing.

I would highly recommend Sweet Impressions for anyone! In addition to having extremely fresh and tasty treats, everyone was extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. They did cake and cupcakes for our wedding and from the initial tasting right through to their final display on our wedding day, everything was top notch! Thanks!!

We ordered their Sweet Shoppe for our wedding (the Mini Sweet Shoppe). They delivered exactly what we'd asked for and still managed to amaze us: everything looked and tasted amazing. I didn't get to try everything (the cake pops went SO FAST) but what I did eat was delicious! I'm normally very picky with cupcakes (I usually scrape off half the icing) but these were perfect. We also ordered cookies with guests' names on them to replace name cards at each seat. These were greatand I heard over and over the day after, "I'm so glad I remembered to take mine home and eat it!" Sweet Impressions went beyond expectations , and I'd definitely recommend them.

We had a great experience with Sweet Impressions! The owner set up a great tasting months before the wedding where we got to try a ton of delicious flavours. She was very detailed in making sure that we got everything we wanted with both the taste and the appearance of the cake. We got a petite two tier cake, which was more than enough to feed the wedding party and our parents (we had gotten a separate cake for the rest of the guests.) The flowers were a beautiful touch. Our cake was delivered to the venue and set up on the table, waiting for us when we arrived. It was fresh and delicious and everything we wanted!

The Bakery is very pretty and has lots of yummy treats.
Ordered a birthday cake from a recommendation.
The cake was decorated just as I had requested and looked nice.
The vanilla buttercream was excellent , just the right flavour and not too sweet.
Disappointed in the vanilla cake as it was dense and people found it dry :(
I am glad we served it with ice cream and compote to compensate.
Maybe sample their products like a cupcake to see if it is for you, before ordering a $60 cake .response / report this review -

There are only wonderful things to say about this bakery ! They set up the dessert table for my wedding and it was as stunning as it was delicious. All the flavours and color palette were completely customized and the tablescape was perfectly executedand let's just say I'm very meticulous. Working with them to achieve what I had in mind was an absolute dream. The red velvet cake pops are by far my favorite but all the selections they recommended were a total hit - heart shaped imperial cookies, caramel corn, mini cupcakes and the list goes on The fact that they are 100% nut free was great because two of our wedding party members have severe nut allergies, so they could indulge without worry. I still swing by on a regular basis for freshly baked goods and of course because it's so darn cute in there !! The giftware is beyond adorable and they're always working on new recipes. Doughnuts are new on the menu and are hands down THE best I've ever had. Check them out, I promise you won't be disappointed !

I have been dealing with Sweet Impressions for just over four years and is always the most pleasurable experience. Krista, Ainsly and staff are always amazing and helpful.
I pick up wonderful treats for customers on a weekly basis and everyone enjoys them leaving a lasting impression. Cupcakes, cookies, popcorn, chocolate bark and cant forget amazing doughnuts baked and hand decorated to perfection.
Thanks so much ladies, its a pleasure always.

Sweet Impressions is hands down the best bakery in Winnipeg. Not only are their products delicious and beautiful, the staff is amazing. They have been part of all of our special occasions, from engagements to weddings, showers, baptisms, and special custom gifts, they always go the extra mile.
