I found styrofoam in one of the rolls, and all the staff did was replace it. Which was pretty disappointing given that this wasn’t the first time I’ve found a non-food item in the rolls.

There was no explanation or service recovery for the incident.

The food quality seems to have dropped. With the sushi not being as tightly packed, and the rolls not being well rolled and cut resulting in oddly sized rolls that break apart the moment you try to pick them up.

Great fusion food at reasonable prices.

Food: Please refer to my pictures. Absolutely loved the rolls, which is kinda their speciality. Do try the BC roll and the stone bowl rice!

Price: Reasonably priced. We paid CAD 26(excluding tax), $29(plus tax and tips) for 2 people.

Service: TOP NOTCH. Fast delivery of food. Prompt and courteous service. Attentive staff. An extremely pleasant experience.

Best sushi place ever! Staff are very professional and fast. Need to take into account how busy this place is. During the evening may wait to be sited up to 30 minutes. But the food worth it! Parking space is very limited so it better to park behind McDonald's on the street.

Food is about average for the price if not below. The place is small and there's only a few parking spots which makes life so much more difficult. But that's not the real issue.. their customer service terrible. I get that the restaurant was busy, but nearly throwing the dish on the table, not even saying "here you go" or anything that acknowledges customers' presence is so bad. I would prefer to pay higher price or even have not as good tasting food and be treated like people are supposed to be treated.

Our favorite sushi place. Cheap and amazing. Always a line up, which makes take out a great option except their menu is elusive and impossible to find online.

Unimpressed with Sushi Californias California Roll. Place is packed all the time. It's the one business in all of Vancouver I can't figure out it's popularity, and I'm imaginative. Parking lot is garbage.

Wonderful variety of rolls and main dishes available at this sushi joint. Staff was friendly and quick. The food was a stunning blend of flavours. Great bang for your buck as well. Only downside is the lack of parking space outside. Very small parking lot.

Delicious sushi at an amazing price. Taste was top notch. Service was good and attentive. The only complaint I had is that some of the pieces were falling apart a bit, but I'm willing to forgive that considering I had so much delicious sushi at such a great price! The spicy salmon sashimi was amazing!

This is a real nice place for sushi. Price-wise it's not bad. They taste good. Service was pretty fast and staff were attentive.
One thing we were not really pleased about was they brought the sushi rolls on pretty warm ( porcelain / ceramic ) plates. Probably they were fresh out of the dishwasher. Eventually, out rolls got way warmer than they should be. Hopefully it won't be the same next time

Decent. I don't like it when restaurants make rolls that are way too big to eat in one bite but you can't bite them in half without them making a huge mess. The taste was good and quick service.

Huge portions, fast service. Had the double spicy tuna roll and the salmon mountain roll and they were the best two rolls I've had in a very long time. The rolls they serve are larger than anywhere I've ever been.

Come for the sushi, not the service. Still 5 stars though, the food and prices are really the draw here! Staff aren't rude or anything, they're really nice, it's just not the kind of place where you get the same serving staff throughout your meal.
