Last night I attended my first show in Stratford. We saw Rocky Horror and it was mind blowing. I have been to many shows and theatres but this was top notch. If you have a chance to see it, do it!! Also the staff at the Avon Theatre was beyond my expectations. Every single one of them made our night memorable and were the friendliest people I have ever met. Well done, you made our night perfection

As regional neighbours, we regularly attend Stratford Festival performances, which have been consistently entertaining and endearing to us over several decades. On our visits, we also enjoy the Festival Theatre's Arthur Meighen Gardens and surrounding park. We appreciate the professionalism and welcoming attitude associated with the Festival and Stratford itself.

This is the best Festival anywhere! The plays are amazing -- the casts, the scenery, the costumes, the music (when used, which is often), etc. The setting in Stratford is beautiful -- lovely town with nice shops, restaurants, and the lovely river and parks. The people at the Festival are helpful, super-pleasant, and knowledgeable -- I've never witnessed any rudeness at all, even when dealing with difficult situations. (You might have noticed that ''I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it.')

Had absolutely the BEST day there. Took my daughter to the 2 o'clock performance on August 5 of Guys and Dolls for her 16th birthday. When the usher scanned our tickets to my horror he informed me that the tickets were for a previous date. I must have mistakingly hit the wrong date when printing them out. He then informed us to go to the Box office and explain our situation. The short walk there felt forever as I felt like such an idiot. We had just drove from Windsor and now we might have to go back sooner and disheartened.

Needless to say the woman at the box office was quick to put my mind at ease and was able to accommodate us with 2 tickets for the show. I can't tell you how I went from feeling like I just let the world crash down on our father/daughter day to being able to see the show after all and have a beautiful afternoon with her.

I have been going for many years and will continue to bring family and friends for many years to come.

Thank you Stratford Festival for allowing me to set out and do what I wanted to doand that was to create a special memory for the 2 of us to cherish for years to come.

Just saw Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Avon Theatre. Fantastic job! The cast really lived "don't dream it; be it"! Superb singing and dancing from everyone, and extra applause for the narrator for his perfect sense of timing!

My husband and I visited Stratford this past weekend and for me it was the first time. It was also my first Shakespeare play. To our surprise and dismay, I had purchased tickets for the wrong day. I thought we would be cutting our weekend short, but the box office staff and the house manager were wonderful! Not only did we see the show, but they even up-graded our seats. We had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed "The Twelfth Night". We will definitely be making trips to the Stratford Festival a regular event! A special thank you to the house manager who saved me from unrelenting teasing from my husband!

I took our Ottawa family including two young teens to Stratford for their inaugural visit this past weekend. I had only been to Stratford once 10 years ago and repeatedly spoke so highly of the quality of theatre that I finally wore everyone down. Experiencing Guys and Dolls will go down in our family lore as one of those singular euphoric moments. My 12 year old daughter was so captivated by Twelfth Night that we decided to add Romeo and Juliette performance for a Saturday double header with Guys and Dolls and were astonished that Evan Buliung played back to back two incredibly demanding roles. I will be making an annual pilgrimage to Stratford from this point forward.

HMS Pinafore is a must see. Treasure Island is wonderfully done with a script that engages children and adults. Timon of Athens is not a comfortable play, but one that is brilliantly performed and relevant to our culture's addictions to consumption, acquiring "friends" and "followers" and emotional instability that result. School for Scandal is beautifully costumed and tightly acted. Guys and Dolls is a stunning spectacle of dance numbers and music that are complex and engaging. The use of music and levels on Twelfth Night brings freshness to a well-known script. A very bright and engaging season!

This is our fourth year coming to see your shows! We have never left a show unhappy! We just saw Guys and Dolls and Treasure Island they were incredible! The cast were soooo talented and the costumes and set designs were breathtaking! Looking forward to HMS pinafore next week. The staff are so pleasant and a bonus is the to go reusable Stratford Festival coffee cup you get as a souvenir when you order a coffee! Also if you have kids definitely take them to Treasure Island! My daughter loved the interaction the pirates have with the kids in the audience! These productions are worth every cent spent!

I had the pleasure of seeing Guys and Dolls yesterday. The choreography and overall energy of the show were nothing short of spectacular! Blythe Wilson (Miss Adelaide) and Alexis Gordon (Sarah Brown) stole the show and Steve Ross' (Nicely-Nicely Johnson) rendition of "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat" brought the house down. In the words of Director and Choreographer Donna Feore"Guys and Dolls is without question one of the finest pieces of musical theatre ever created". True Stratford quality across the board. Well Done!

By far some of the best theatre I've seen. The quality is definitely on par if not better than Broadway. Ticket prices are good (even better when you are from the US with the current exchange rate) and all the seats are good seats. I saw 5 of this season's shows and I wasn't disappointed in any of them. 5 of 5 stars for sure! I'll definitely be back next year!

My daughter LOVES Romeo and Juliet so we went this weekend with my mother in law, my friend and her two girls and us. When the lights turned on at intermission I turned to my daughter and asked how it was. She said that Romeo missed a line in her favorite part but she'll forgive him because it is just so good. Thank you for an amazing production of my daughter's favorite love story.
